Overall good accommodations. We had concerns over past reviews about the bed being broken. Contacted them prior to arriving and they made a point to say this was addressed and someone would go make sure everything chexkout out before we arrived. While I appreciate this attemp it was not resolved. We got a message asking if everything was good after arriving. I sent pictures and status of the bed and a few othe things to them after check in but no reply. The bed has a crack in the rail and missing two supports , makes too much noise but we were able to sleep on it and deal with it. Overall the main issue was the bed. Place was mostly good and for the price I am satisfied. We also saw that being on second floor the access was limited to one semi close stairs and one elevator. Several days They had shut down elevators and stairs for maintenance. October early We stayed 5 nights with 4 adults. The walk to the beach is long but enjoyable over the long board walk on marsh. We didn't rent (on site rental) or have bikes but would suggest this due to the distance to the beach. The facilities were old but functional and had lots of space in pools that are inside and outside with saunas and Jacuzzis. Close by restaurants are great.

This is the WORST place we have ever booked on Hotels.com. DO NOT STAY HERE. When we arrived we noticed that it had not been cleaned (dirty fridge and freezer, sand in the bunk beds, dirty dishes in the dishwasher). It progressed to worse and worse. UNSAFE conditions - broken metal pipe exposed in bathtub, UNSANITARY - dirty used dog bed in kids closet (my son thought it was a blanket), food spill on master comforter (not a stain), stains on all furniture and pillows), DANGEROUS - food preparation items stored under sink on comet, paint cans and cockroach traps). To make matters worse, a complete lack of communication by the owner to schedule a cleaner, inability to get a refund for the stay despite unclean, unsafe and unsanitary conditions, and hours spent on the phone with the management company and Hotels.com to get a refund. Do yourself a favor and stay at a Marriot!
