Situated just a leisurely 4-minute stroll from the relaxing sands of Hilton Head's North Forest Beach, our home is a haven for those seeking the coastal experience. Our home's heart, a recently updated kitchen, features quartz countertops, modern cabinets, and appliances no more than three years old. The inviting space is perfected with stylish pendants and swivel upholstered stools, creating an ambiance that's both elegant and welcoming. Fresh paint graces the living, dining, and kitchen areas, complementing the new king-sized bed in the master bedroom, now refreshed with wood flooring and a serene color palette.

This spacious, four-bedroom, three-bathroom residence boasts a heated pool* and a luxurious hot tub, complete with 37 jets and LED lighting, promising an idyllic escape. The one-level layout ensures easy accessibility and includes two master suites, two guest rooms, and a shared bath, all featuring contemporary wood floors. Updated vanities and lighting enhance the hall and queen suite bathrooms, adding a touch of sophistication.

The expansive living room, equipped with a 46-inch widescreen HDTV, merges seamlessly with the dining area and newly fitted kitchen. Our commitment to excellence is evident in the continuous deep cleaning, fresh paint, and installation of classy shutters and custom Roman shades that adorn our windows.

Outside, the private backyard offers an expansive deck surrounding the pool and hot tub, an elevated flagstone patio ideal for grilling (featuring a new Weber propane grill), and a delightful sitting area adorned with rattan furniture and vibrant red cushions – a perfect spot to relax under the new umbrella on warm days.

Freshly painted in a soothing blue with crisp white shutters and complemented by new landscaping, the exterior of our home invites you to explore the local offerings. Relaxing Vacation!

The home was such a relaxing atmosphere! Beautiful backyard and the pool was great! Grandchildren loved all the floats provided! 5 minute walk to beach! Our family enjoyed our stay !

Great Beach Vacay

The property is in a quiet neighborhood, easy walk to the beach, fully stocked with beach and pool supplies, kitchen and grilling needs and great accommodations for our family of 9…from ages 87-2! Laura is fantastic to work with and communicated well to made sure all of our needs were met. Highly recommend this property!

HHI 2025

We chose to return to this house for the 2nd time after a great stay a couple of years ago. Our family has been visiting Hilton Head Island for the past 25 years and this spot was ideal. Close enough to the Coligny for a daily morning walk to the Piggly Wiggly but far enough that the short walk to the beach gave easy access to plenty of room without a crowd. The patio & pool area is ideal for our party of 8 - including two kids and the pool was a good combination of sun & shade. Lots of areas to hang together or sit away from the group for some quiet time. Nice but not overly fancy so it felt like home. Strongly recommend!

We had a great time, Thanksgiving holiday. Open area, patio space. Pool and hot tub. Only downside was pool heater did not work. World stay again.

Comfortable and Happy Beach Home

Great family home, easy walk to the beach, very comfortable and perfect for a large family. Private pool and hot tub backyard was wonderful. The owner was super easy to communicate with and any issues were had were dealt with immediately. Lovely home and we had a wonderful and memorable family vacation.

Private backyard

Our family, 3 couples and children 6 yr and 1 year old, all enjoyed the privacy of the backyard to ourselves. Relaxed by the pool with plenty of sitting space for meals outside under umbrella tables. We have rented vacation homes frequently and found this one to have the most things we use provided. This was our first visit to HHI and will be back!

Overall a nice property near beach. The rear yard, terrace, and pool with hot tub nice. The entire area was a little "tired" and could stand some TLC. Could never get electronic door lock to work. I expected a nicer place for what I paid

HHI 2023 on Mallard

The visit was great overall. The property was well set up and the patio & pool were enjoyable and a good size for our group (6 adults and 2 kids). The communication with the owner was excellent and personable. The humidity has taken its toll on the exterior of the house in some spots, including the raised patio, but that didn’t impact our visit. The price was a little high for the distance from the beach but I suspect we booked at a pricing peak. All in all, it was a good experience and everyone left happy!

Fabulous Stay!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Laura’s home! The location is amazing, just a short walk to the beach in a super family-friendly neighborhood. The house itself is exactly as described in the pictures, clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Laura, the host, is exceptional! She took great care of us throughout our stay, providing timely and helpful communication. She responded quickly to any queries we had and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. While arriving late due to being stuck in traffic, Laura even coordinated the delivery of a scooter we had rented for my dad, which was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating. Overall, a wonderful experience and we highly recommend this rental! Super pet friendly too!! We will come back! Thanks you, Laura!

We stayed here with the family for my dad’s birthday and it was truly the perfect place for a family getaway. The listing was exactly as described: spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. We had 8 adults and a toddler, and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. The couch fit all of us, and we enjoyed big family dinners at the dining table each night.The outdoor space was amazing and definitely a highlight of the trip. The pool was very clean and maintained, and the hot tub worked perfectly (which isn’t always the case at other rentals). There were also plenty of beach chairs, floats, and toys included, which made our pool and beach days so easy.The location couldn’t have been better. It was just a short walk to the beach, where we could do quick morning walks together as a family if we didn't want to set up for the day yet. The house was also incredibly clean and well-stocked.Communication with the host was top-notch. She even gave us a call before our trip to go over details and answer any questions we had; and also checked in during the trip as well. She was flexible and accommodating, which made the experience even better.We would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time. The house was in a perfect location. We had a few small issues but they were taken care of quickly and the communication with the owner and property manager was top notch. The only down-side we had was that we felt that it would have been nice to have more than one sink in at least one, if not two of the bathrooms. That was really the only down-side. The pool and back-yard area was amazing and we spent a majority of our time (that we were not on the beach) in the backyard. The kitchen was well stocked and the extra room with an extra fridge was great to have! Would recommend to friends and family.

Just what we needed!

Backyard is an oasis of different seating areas, shady and sunny! Home is well stocked for every need. Plates and cups for pool area and regular plates for inside. Both manager and owner were extremely easy to work with and quick with responses. Easy short walk to the beach, with plenty of supplies for the beach. Wagons, chairs, and floats. Very enjoyable!!!

Relaxing and convenient location!

Private location - with an excellent pool. The beach walk was short with a beautiful sandy and uncrowded beach in front of the walk through. The chairs and wagon came in handy for us! I loved the convenience of coligny plaza as it was a short bike ride or walk for everything we could need.

Perfect Beach Holiday

The house was perfect. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach. A 15 minute walk to the shopping district. But the best part was the house. Pool was perfect. Backyard had plenty of space with many sitting areas. The house inside and out was in great shape. The owner and property manager were extremely helpful. When my daughter left her text to me was we need to rent this house again next year. Couldn’t agree more. Had a wonderful week with the family and renting this house made it perfect. Till next year.

Family Vacay

Laura was great with communication before we even arrived at the property. She helped us adjust our dates and arrival time to fit our needs with having a toddler. Which - the option of a crib and pack n play was a life saver for us. We had 6 adults - each with enough space of their own. Great location for the beach and Coligny. We met the property manager upon arrival and she was great as well! Would definitely recommend this home for a family!

Everything was as described! Location was about a five minute walk to the beach and mostly shaded! The pool and hot tub were extra nice after a long day at the beach. Plenty of amenities including cooking items. Would stay again for sure!

So pretty!

The place was beautiful! Loved the backyard oasis. There was a problem with the pool light that didn’t get fixed until later in the week, but the host was nice enough to let us stay an extra night for free because of it!

Fantastic location, charming home w/ great outdoor space

We’ve been coming to HHI for years and North Forest Beach is, by far, our favorite location. 3 Mallard is charming and in a perfect location, just off beach and a quick walk to shops and restaurants. Laura was a thoughtful, fantastic, communicative host. For those who like to cook, kitchen is very well-appointed. Highly recommend!
