Welcome to your perfect Hilton Head Island getaway! This bright and spacious 6-bedroom, 4-bathroom beach house sleeps up to 23 guests and is located in the beautiful gated community of Sandcastles by the Sea, just a short 5–7 minute shaded walk to Folly Field Beach.



Overlooking a stunning lagoon with a lighted fountain, this professionally decorated home features an elevator, private heated pool, outdoor fire pit dining area, propane BBQ grill, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Great stay for a large family gathering

The house was spacious, nicely decorated, and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Kids loved having their own space the top floor with all the bunks. Heated pool was also a fave with the kids! Host was very responsive with any questions. We had to replace the propane tank on the grill because it was empty when we arrived.

Beautiful!!!

The house was so beautiful!! It there was plenty of room for everyone. The only really bothersome issues that we experienced were loose hardware on the bunk beds and pet odor. It smelled like dogs the further up we went. The top level smelled like dogs were kept there often.

Alligator in the back yard was a nice touch!

We had a great stay. It’s a quick drive to get anywhere, plus walking to the beach is clutch. Host was super responsive and helpful. Nothing bad to say!

Graduation

We stayed here for our son Graduating boot camp at Parris Island. Semper Fi! We had lots of family and a lot of his friends and this property was plenty big enough to house us all. The heated pool was definitely a plus and our new Marine loved soaking in there after a hard 13 weeks.

Great house for groups

Great house with plenty of room for everyone. Pool is great and walk to beach isn't bad, 10 minutes. Plenty of chairs and wagons. Great response time from managers. Ice maker is broken, very disappointed we had to buy ice. Air fryer wouldn't come on when we tried to use it. Non stick pans need to be refreshed. Chairs and umbrellas need to be gone through for broken ones. We took a broken chair and umbrella to the beach. Hose in the garage needs to be replaced, has holes. Elevator was a great help! Would recommend a garage refrigerator. Love the alligator, we named him Steve!

Family Graduation Gathering

Perfect house for multiple families with an awesome layout for privacy when needed. The house is beautiful with everything needed for vacation or a family gathering. Close proximity to Parris Island if you have a Marine graduate. Also very close to some amazing restaurants and shopping. The elevator was an awesome bonus! Very easy to operate if you follow the directions. Large kitchen for cooking with everything you need. The owner responds very quickly if a problem does arise. Was very pleased with our week long stay. Will be back!

The Good and the Bad

The location of the property and the decor and number of bedrooms was great. We chose the property because of the elevator use but unfortunately it was down more than it was up. Trying to contact and get assistance with this problem was far less than desirable!! Several other issues were finally addressed by the owner but only after we had called VRBO.

Beautiful Home - Would Stay Again

There were 8 of us and a baby so everyone enjoyed having their own space. The rooms are well decorated and beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with pretty much everything needed to cook and serve a meal. However, the pots/pans (non stick ones) are badly scratched. The only minor disappointment was that closest beach entrance was closed for renovations (of course this was not the host fault). We had to message the host to get another entrance point and it was further away which was inconvenient. I wish this had been part of the welcome message so we would have been prepared. Overall, the host was very responsive and even came over when we were having an issue with the gas grill. We would stay here again.

Parris Island graduation

We were very excited for the stay. The layout of the house is beautiful, spacious and enough room to sleep multiple guest. The house is not cared for the way it should be. The walls are dirty, house dirty, surface cleaned, multiple things broken, water pressure on third floor almost non existent (sink), outdoor fire pit not working, chairs broken on the 1st floor and pool area. The worse thing was we saw multiple bugs. I’m not talking about outdoor bugs. We are pretty easy going people, working class professionals, not just picking out things. When I sent an 2 inbox to the owner I didn’t receive a courtesy response.i shouldn’t have to go away being worried to bring something into my own home.

Great location

The house was very nice and the proximity to the beach was outstanding. Nice decor, comfortable beds, plenty of room for our group of 13. Pool was a nice touch got rainy day. The drawbacks? Not many . Houses are close together so other people’s issues can bleed over to you. Only one idiot next door of note. Elevator was a little tweaky. Stopped working twice but then started. Unfortunately, the last time was as we were leaving so my 89 year old mother had to deal with the stairs. There seem to be a couple of ducks or water fowl that are non stop noise most of the night. But bottom line I’d sure stay again.

Great location, tired house

We had 18 stay for a week this summer. The location was great - a short walk to a beautiful beach and right near the trolly. We enjoyed the layout of the house and the pool at the bottom. The ice maker didnt work nor did the grill but after communicating about the two, the homeowner fixed the grill in a matter of hours which was super helpful. They never responded about the ice maker nor fixed it. The house is very tired - its needs a true deep clean. There are grimey finger prints on every wall and the furniture needs a deep clean. You can tell this is a well worn rental property. Additionally, the kitchen wasnt well appointed - you need to bring knives, serving dishes and a cutting board. All in all we would probably look at a different rental next time because of these things. That said, the host was super communicative which was helpful and the location was great. Its a trade off but really to elevate this property wont take too much - host should invest in a deep clean once/year.

Beautiful home, pet friendly. Owner is super nice and accommodating. Home was used for my 50th birthday. Family came to visit from out of town. Everyone had a great time. House is located in a great area. Close to restaurants, grocery stores and beach.

Very nicely equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. Very clean interior and had plenty of beds for everyone. Seating in living area was perfect for our family and children liked the games. The outside garage code did not open the door, however we just opened it from close to beach and places to eat within walking distance.
