Great Family Vacation

Our family of 6, with kids ranging in age from 14 to 24 had a wonderful time at Marriott's SurfWatch. There was ample living space in our unit, and the resort was accurately described in the listing and well-maintained. The beach and resort layout are beautiful, and our family enjoyed the sand volleyball court, bikes, fire pits and yard games. Everything we needed was easily accessible. We'll go back!

Surprised

Usually rent a home in HH but wanted to try something a little different as my kids are getting older (15,13,12,10). Marriott was perfect for all ages! Condos were perfect size and the staff made it feel like we were in an all inclusive style resort. I would say the only issue I saw was pretty much unavoidable was the beach pool was too small so sun screen became an issue in the water. I’m going back if the price is right again. Thx vacation candy !!!

Perfect resort destination for family

We spent a week at SurfWatch and couldn’t have been more pleased. Our accommodations were excellent and there was fun activities for the kids. The resort is laid out well and we appreciated the courtesy golf carts to the beach. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was very family friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

4th of July Week

We had a wonderful stay over the 4th of July as a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 teens). For a holiday, it didn't feel overly busy and there was always space at the pool, bike rentals, and parking. The grills are maintained extremely well and someone is always cleaning them. The front lobby workers were always super nice. The rooms were spacious and kept up. The beds were super comfortable. The beach was crowded with people with really big tents or umbrellas, but if you went at low tide, there was always space.

Great Vacation!

We had a terrific vacatio!. Everyone, from the youngest to the oldest, enjoyed our stay. There were lots of activities for all. The staff members are very accommodating and courteous. The villa was perfect for our family. We are definitely making plans to come again.

Surfwatch was awesome again in 2019!

We enjoyed another great family vacation at Surfwatch the week of June 29th through July 6th! Our condo was great--very clean and well-kept---in the closest building to the beach---and all the activities and amenities on the resort were great! We also had great customer service by everyone who worked there! There was one slight drawback---the beach pool was having some filtration issues and was closed many days during our stay--but the other pool was open and we really are beach people anyway, so it didn't both us too much! Hopefully it will be fully functional next time we go! I would highly recommend this property to any of my friends/family and we enjoyed some really great dining and activities off property, including dinner at Hudson's, the Old Oyster Factory and Hickory Tavern, miniature golf at Adventure Cove, 18-Holes of golf at Hilton Head National, ice cream at The Ice Cream Cone in Coligny Plaza, chocolate martini's at Charlie's L'Toile Verde, 4th of July fireworks in Shelter Cove and of course, fresh shrimp and crab cakes from Barnacle Bill's Fresh Seafood Market. We can't wait to come back to HHI!!!
