This was our first time staying at Palmetto Dunes and it did not disappoint! The villa was absolutely gorgeous and the location was perfect. Carolyn was a wonderful host. Great communication and attention to details. The villa was spotless, beautifully updated and had everything we needed. The king bed in the master was so comfortable! Loved the swivel gliders in front of the ocean view picture window. We highly recommend this unit and look forward to staying here again.

Wonderful location, very clean, comfortable condo

Lovely condo in Palmetto Dunes

This condo is just as depicted. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the Villamare complex with great beach walking. We would return any time.

Wonderful condo in Palmetto Dunes

We had a wonderful stay on Hilton Head! The condo was the nicest one we’ve stayed at in our four vacation trips there. The owner was very responsive and was great communicating with us during our stay. Excellent location, very clean and kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay there again!

Winter Break

This was a perfect getaway from winter in Ohio. The oceanfront views were beautiful, the condo was well furnished and comfortable. We enjoyed walking the beach and the paths. The owner was very responsive.

Perfect vacation!

The condo was perfect! The ocean is steps away, the views were spectacular, the complex was very nice and the location was perfect. The condo was very comfortable and clean and looked exactly like the pictures in the listing. We can’t wait to come back soon!

Great stay!

Nicely decorated, CLEAN, comfortable and spacious condo in convenient location with great ocean views. Well stocked and many extra amenities such as beach chairs, beach buggy, anti-fatigue mats, extra batteries for the remotes, etc. We had problem with refrigerator when we arrived but owner was quick to respond and went above and beyond to find a satisfactory solution. Pools, beach access, gym, parking area and entire grounds were well-kept. Beach borrow boxes a great idea. We hope to return next year and would love to stay at this condo again.

Incredible Place

We travel quite a bit and this was hands down the nicest place we have stayed. It’s a large unit and had everything we needed. The living room has very comfortable furniture. Those swivel things picking chairs are awesome. The bed was so comfortable. Carolyn was an excellent communicator. It is clear that she has really thought out what her guests might need. Every time I thought “I wonder if she has one of those” she did. We have already booked our next trip there. Can’t wait!

Great place, great owner!

This unit is one of the nicest we've stayed in over all of our years staying in Palmetto Dunes. The owner thought of everything, and having a double oven over Thanksgiving was an amazing thing! Carolyn is a wonderful owner who's so responsive and answered all of our questions immediately. The unit is beautiful and was immaculate on our arrival. She is constantly updating it and it's just lovely. The view and location are perfect for our needs. We'll definitely be back to this unit due to our great experience!

Villamare @ Palmetto Dunes - WONDERFUL!

Our family of 4 had a fantastic week in Hilton Head at Villamare. Wonderful condo with ocean views. Very clean, well appointed with tasteful decor. Quite simply, there was nothing we needed the entire week. It had absolutely everything! Resort grounds were meticulously cared for and the pools were well maintained. Centrally located on the island we were well within 15-20 minutes of anywhere we wanted to go. We had bikes delivered to the resort and utilized all the amazing paths. We went kayaking, took a sunset dolphin cruise and went horseback riding. We drove a short distance to enjoy Harbor Town and South Beach. The restaurants were abundant and in short distance (ELA’S on the Water was our favorite). The condo comes stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, toys and a cooler which was so convenient. If you are looking for a stress free, home away from home vacation spot, stop looking. You just found it :)

A Great Stay

We were very pleased with the property, the rental unit itself, its location and the communication with our host Carolyn. She was very responsive one the one or two times when we had questions. We appreciated the short walk to the beach, the well-appointed kitchen (which seemed to have everything) and the available "serenity" pool and hot tub (to escape families with young children). We made some minor suggestions to the host after our stay, things that we thought might be beneficial to future guests. If you're a bird photographer, it's very convenient to shoot directly from the balcony in the trees across the driveway, and you'll absolutely love all the places nearby to capture wildlife with your camera. We loved the proximity to supermarkets as we like to cook many of our own meals when we're staying somewhere. If there was one annoyance during our stay, it was from the property adjoining Villamare. The landscapers seemed to frequently start up their gas-powered leaf blowers around 7:30 in the morning to clear pine needles from their common areas. We're typically up early so it wasn't a huge deal, but the noise tends to drone on when they're on the side closest to the unit. Overall it was a great stay, the place is comfortable, the internet worked very well, the view as great and we would not hesitate to return.

Great place! Perfect for our family (4 adults/1 child). Right on the beach and pool area was amazing for our granddaughter. Centrally located for travel around the island. Clean, well stocked kitchen, huge bedrooms! Love the double balconies, one off each bedroom!

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo! It was a great location with our one year old to be close to the beach but also have a pool. The shallow section of the pool was very family friendly. We enjoyed the lack of crowds after Labor day weekend. The host was an excellent communicator. It was just the right size for our small family.

Fabulous beach getaway

Our week at Hilton Head in Carolyn’s condo was fantastic! The condo is spotless, spacious, well-appointed and has views of the ocean and beach from both bedrooms and the living room. We will definitely be staying there again!

Lovely Oceanfront Condo

We had a wonderful stay here. We have been coming to Hilton Head for many years and have stayed in a lot of different places. Carolyn's condo was lovely. It was very clean, great location on the island with a terrific view! Despite the unusually cold temperatures over the Christmas Holiday, we had some wonderful walks on the beach!
