EASY BEACH ACCESS IN A COMFORTABLE PRIVATE HOME - 2024 Full Home Renovation Just Completed - All new luxury bathrooms and modern open concept kitchen with large island. Walk out the front door to beautiful Driessen Beach Park, just 100 yards away, and a short boardwalk stroll to the sand. Driessen Beach is a quiet locals beach, away from the crowds. You will also have the seclusion and beauty of a modern, updated home with a private heatable pool and a spacious deck and patio, where you can relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of the nature preserve behind our house.

The perfect home for families, friends (and dogs!). This well-maintained private home is comfortable inside and out, including 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a large dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room. You'll also find the comforts of home such as Flat Screen Smart-TV's, Cable and High Speed Internet/WiFi.

On the outside, walk out from the living room to our 12x21 deck, perfect for relaxing, grilling, and dining while enjoying the quiet of the beautiful nature preserve. Walk down the steps to enjoy the rest of our backyard oasis - sit in and watch TV in our new covered paver patio area, and swim in the private pool, all in a private, fenced-in yard. The Pool can be heated for your comfort during your stay.

The best part of our home is its location - a four-minute walk to the beach through beautiful Driessen Beach Town Park - a hidden gem on Hilton Head Island. It features a fun modern playground for the kids, comfort stations, outdoor showers, a foot rinse station, and a four-minute walk to the beach on an elevated boardwalk through a beautiful, undisturbed natural area. You'll also find whatever you need for the beach, including chairs, toys, and carts available for your use in the basement of our home.

We are also dog-friendly ($300/week).

House Details:

First Floor: Kitchen completely updated in 2022 with new appliances and a large island for eating and gathering. Also, updated laundry room with a large new washer and dryer. Spacious living room with 65-inch Flat Screen Smart-TV, large sectional sofa, and dining area for 10.

Beautiful house, pool was a nice relief at the end of days at the nearby beach. Beach was great, not crowded. Loved the stay, owners were in touch on day one to make sure all was ok and if we had questions. Great people to work with.

Terrific HHI neighborhood beach house.

A beautiful vacation home just a 5 minute walk from the beach. Large kitchen, dining room, and family room. Bedrooms are comfortable, but are little tight when having a rental crib for an infant. Over all a great vacation home

We (6 adults and 4 young children) stayed at this home last week. It was perfect for all of us, well stocked kitchen, close to playground and beach. Parking lot at the end of our street was perfect place to teach our 5 year old granddaughter how to ride her bike. Also, conveniently located to Kroger at Shelter Cove. Communication with owner was excellent. Would return if visiting HH in the future!

Wonderful family accommodations!

Lovely, spacious home with comfortable beds and seating for our family Thanksgiving celebration. Spacious bedrooms, inviting public spaces - even bigger than it appears in the photos. Steps to the beach across a well landscaped boardwalk. We’ve been coming to HHI for years and we’re pleased with this convenient location! Owners were friendly and easy to work with. Look forward to returning!!

Wonderful location

My family had a wonderful time and the location was perfect. Everyone enjoyed all the space in the hose and all the conveniences. We also enjoyed the pool and all the outside areas for relaxing. The response from the owner with questions was very prompt.

Wonderful property! We stayed while going to Paris Island for a grandsons graduation to become a MARINE. Short lovely walk to the beach. Lovely outside sitting areas. Very clean. We loved the property so much. Host was very responsive to everything adding to our overall experience being grand. Also close to stores and restaurants.

Beautiful home - Great location

This was our first time staying at this end of the island. The property was just beautiful and well maintained. We had plenty of room for our party of 6 to spread out and enjoy ourselves either inside, on the patio or deck, or by the pool. The location is great. It is a short walk to Driessen beach with a little park and facilities. The owner of this property was easy to communicate with and responded quickly if we had any questions. We really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful family Vacation

This was our first time staying at this property and we just had the best time! You can’t beat the location - easy walk to the beach and a short drive to great dining and activities. The house itself was beautiful! So clean and comfortable. Our kids had so much fun swimming in the heated pool! The owner was very easy to work with and was very responsive. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Epic family vacation

This was our second epic stay at this wonderful property! The house is great by itself with great pool, etc. But the location is unbeatable! It is literally the 4th house from the beach park making the beach an easy walk. Plus it is close to everything including less than 2 miles to a large Kroger. Plan to be back many times. The owner is terrific to work with

Perfect Beach Home

The property was clean and spacious just like advertised. Our family including our 🐕 spent a week at this home in August The beach is steps away. The backyard was very well taking caroff. The bedrooms were clean spacious and all the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the big screen TV in the living room and the whole family was able to snuggle on the big sectional and watch movies in the evenings. Communication with the owner was easy via text he checked on on us and make sure everything was in order. We will be back next year!

Excellent Host

We stayed during Tropical storm Debby. The host was very helpful in preparing for the weather and offered an extended stay or a credit due to lost beach time. We salvaged the week so we did not need the offer. Great location, near Kroger just off 278. Short walk to the county park and along a walking path to the beach. Lots of beach toys and beach buggies to utilize. The pool is not very large but it was great for our 3, five and under, grandchildren. We enjoyed our stay despite the weather. .

Hilton head beach stay

Pros: House is well stocked with everything you need. owners were quick to responed to any concerns, beautiful home. short 5 min walk to beach Cons: pool undersized for the amount of people the house holds. There are no sidewalks on the road so you have to walk in the street and through a public parking lot to get to the boardwalk so if you have little ones something to consider.

Excellent Hilton Head Home - 5 Stars

We just returned from a wonderful stay at this home in Hilton Head, South Carolina and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The home was extremely well-stocked with all the amenities we needed for our vacation, and it was immaculately clean upon our arrival. The communication with the owners was excellent - they were very responsive in addressing a minor wasp situation that came up during our stay. We really appreciated their quick attention to this. The location of the home was ideal, being very close to the beach as well as all the shops, restaurants, and activities in the area. We couldn't have asked for a better spot. Overall, this home exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay here again in the future. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch Hilton Head rental. A true five-star experience all around!

Location was even better then expected

House was great for us. Every family has direct access to a bathroom and beds were big enough for all. (4) adult couples and (4) children. Large sectional was the spot to be when everyone was winding down. Large dining table was our gaming table. Kitchen was large enough but did get congested when everyone wanted to be around the island cooking snacking and talking. Location was even better than anticipated. We were on a street that ended into a state beach access with good facilities. It was not overly busy. We walked past about (4 or 5) neighbors into the park and onto the boardwalk. Loved it. Very safe. We did need the owner’s help during the stay and he was very quick to help.

Disgusting,misleading,and disrespectful

*RENTERS BEWARE*. Upon arrival in Hilton Head, we decided to head to the beach to see the “quiet and uncrowded” area that was described in the listing. Only we found the exact opposite. The beach was COMPLETELY packed as far as you could see, due to the street being attached to a public access parking lot, and the boardwalk was shared with the huge hotel next door. We decided to go get dinner and try again later, then we were so excited to finally see our rental after getting a message saying the house was clean and ready. THIS IS WHERE THE HORROR STARTS. My fiancé and I showed up to the house before the rest of the family to find used bandaids, tissues, cups, and unexplained stains in our bedroom. The rest of the family arrived to find DOG POOP and dog hair in their rooms and on their sheets. We messaged the owner to let him know of the filth we had walked into, just for him to ask me if “I want to clean it or do I want the cleaners to come back to do it?” Of course I asked for the cleaners to come back and clean it, then I was told that it was my fault for showing up to early and rushing the cleaners. After arguing back and forth about the cleaners mistake, the owner decided if we don’t like the house then we are not allowed to stay in it, and requested VRBO to cancel our 7 day reservation. We were left with no backup plan 7 hours away from home. Luckily we got a refund after hours on the phone, but were left with no home or hotel to go too. Awful experience never rent here
