THE SETTING: Located in a peaceful residential area of Sea Pines, 1 Bateau Road offers a private setting while keeping the beach, Harbour Town, golf, dining, shopping, and miles of bike paths within easy reach. Days can begin with a bike ride beneath the trees, continue around the private pool, and end with dinner outdoors or a relaxed evening in the Carolina Room. Lush landscaping surrounding the backyard adds to the sense of privacy and creates an inviting setting for enjoying Hilton Head's beautiful weather.

A GE Monogram Professional gas range, butler's pantry, quality cookware, matching dinnerware, generous serving pieces, ample glassware, Keurig and traditional drip coffee makers, and plentiful prep space make cooking and entertaining easy. A separate dining room provides a welcoming setting for meals together, while additional indoor and outdoor dining areas offer plenty of flexibility throughout your stay.

VEHICLES/ATTACHMENTS: Denied entry to Sea Pines include motorcycles/scooters, any vehicle categorized as an RV (this includes vans with hook-ups), boats, jet skis, and trailers.

HOW FAR TO BEACH: Approximately a 15-minute bike ride to the beach. During peak season, complimentary Sea Pines Beach Trolleys transport guests from designated parking areas to the Sea Pines Beach Club. The closest trolley location is near the intersection of Greenwood Drive and Willow Oak Road, less than five minutes away by car. From the day after Labor Day through mid-March, overnight guests may park directly at the Beach Club.

POOL HEAT: The private pool may be heated with propane for an additional fee of $350 for the first day and $150 for each additional day during March through May and September through November. Propane heat remains effective in colder air temperatures. Winter rates are available upon request. Pool heat fees are non-taxable and non-refundable.

PAYMENTS AND CANCELLATION POLICY: For reservations made thirty (30) days or fewer prior to arrival, payment in full is due at the time of booking. For reservations made thirty-one (31) days or more prior to arrival, a deposit of 25% of the total reservation amount, along with the full travel insurance premium if selected, is due when the reservation is made. The remaining balance is due thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Long-term winter reservation policies may differ; please inquire for details. Guests may cancel up to thirty-one (31) days before arrival and receive a full refund of their deposit. Cancellations made between fourteen (14) and thirty (30) days prior to arrival are eligible for a 50% refund of the total payment. Reservations become non-cancelable and non-refundable beginning thirteen (13) days prior to arrival. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
