"Our stay was very nice. We asked for adjoining rooms and received them. The place was neat and clean. The beds were definitely a little older and a bit used but I can say I've slept in worse at other hotels. My friends and I felt bad for the girl behind the desk. We went for the continental breakfast and all the coffee was out along with some other items and it was a bit untidy. We asked where the coffee was to make more and she was very apologetic.. seems that she was working a double shift due to other workers not showing up. We pitched in and helped her set up the area and everything turned out great! She was very grateful for our help, it was the least we could do seeing as how she had been there over 12 hours already!! Overall, nice place, great stay, close to everything we were doing, nice girl behind the desk but the poor gal is definitely overworked!!"

"Excellent all around! Teresa's communication was very quick, even letting us check in early on our day of arrival. The house was very clean and organized, stocked with everything that we would possible need. We made use of the high chair and pack & play for my grandson - which is something that is not easy to travel with! I personally loved the covered deck right off the kitchen, great lake views - peaceful and quiet! Ah yes, the lake - beautiful! BUT - there are 68 steps down to the lake (we counted) When you get down though, you have everything that you need - chairs, kayaks, paddleboards, a canoe, life jackets, and a lily pad! The kids loved being able to jump right off the dock after exiting the cars upon arrival! Overall - great house, great location, plenty of space, everything you need is included! The beds were a little uncomfortable though. We had an awesome time and made some great memories, I would recommend this place to anyone!"

"The property was as listed and very clean and updated. We loved the location on the lake. Decent dock and easy for us to dock two boats. We enjoyed floating in the lake. Very nice screened in porch. Renters would get the most use from it in cooler weather. We loved the deck area the best. The breeze off the lake in addition to the fan We brought made it comfortable in the 90 weather we had during our stay. We appreciated that their were mounted fans in all 4 bedrooms. We would recommend this to anyone traveling to beautiful Balsam Lake."

"Absolutely perfect for our group stay. We had 10 adults and 7 kids, and the home’s spacious layout made it incredibly comfortable for everyone. We never felt crowded — there was plenty of room to gather, relax, and spread out.The cleanliness stood out immediately, and the furnishings were high‑quality, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. The AC kept the entire house cool even on the hottest days, which was a lifesaver with such a large group.The fully stocked kitchen was another highlight. It had everything we needed to cook big meals, and the space made it easy for multiple people to prep food at once.We also loved how close the property is to Clear Lake Park — it made it incredibly convenient for us to head over for swimming and picnicking. Being able to enjoy the lake so easily was a huge bonus for our group.Finally, the in‑person check‑in and check‑out with the host was seamless and genuinely appreciated. They were welcoming, helpful, and made the whole process feel easy.We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended."
