We loved staying here. We roasted s’mores outside and enjoyed the hot tub. The mickleson trail was perfect for walking and biking. Thanks so much for a lovely vacation!
We stayed here for a family vacation in the Black Hills. Everything was as expected and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The check in and check out process was very easy.
Would recommend staying at the cabin to anyone. Cabin was a perfect location to visit MT Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and numerous other activities. We were 10 minutes from Hill City which has many shops, grocery store, and restaurants.
Our family really enjoyed our stay in this cabin! The cabin was clean, there was a lot of space to relax, and they had all the amenities we needed. Property manager was very quick to help with questions
Comfortable cabin with all the amenities we needed plus some. Could have been cleaner e.g. floors and dusting. Love the setting and location!! Thanks for an enjoyable stay!
Property was very clean and easy to find. Adequate parking ensured all the family had space to park. Positioned Right on the Mickelson trail and just minutes from sxs trails made all of our activities convenient.
We took a family trip to the Black Hills and loved our vacation! This VRBO is located in a great central area for a short drive to many attractions including Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park. We would have loved to have stayed longer. So much to do, and not near enough time to fit it all in! Great place to stay!
It was a great house for 7-8 of us women from Nebraska to get away to, cook& eat together, play games, watch Nebraska football, use the hot tub and visit Hill City wineries and downtown shops. Would definitely recommend it!
Had a great time over a long weekend. Location is excellent for day trips to various sites. The space was exactly what we needed - lots of room for the kids to have their own place. It was incredibly hot while we were there but we stayed cool enough at night with the window AC units and leaning the bedroom doors open to keep air circulating. Would stay again next time we are looking to visit the area. Easy checkin and checkout process.
The cabin was better than expected. More than enough room for the 5 of us, the hot tub was amazing and the beds were super comfortable! It was charming and homey. Very easy to find! Internet is very spotty but you’re at a cabin, go enjoy yourself!
This home has enough room for a family to relax and enjoy each other. Our group loved the long dining room table to fit all of us, proximity to attractions, front porch and hot tub. Kids enjoyed the horses running behind the property each day at 5:30 pm. I would recommend to bring lawn games to play outside.
Recently stayed at Rippling Creek Haven with 4 adults and 2 young children (and there would have been plenty of room for more!). It was a great experience - beautiful location and close to many things to do in the Black Hills. Hot tub was great to sit in in the evening and the propane fireplace was nice. Lots of space in the kitchen. Instructions for everything was clear. Would stay here again.
We had a good time….the house was perfect for our get together. There was enough plates and glasses for our crew and there was kitchen appliances like a crockpot. Big table for game playing. The hot tub was wonderful: clean and had good temperature. Lovely for a winter evening! I would rent it again!
Great location for a short drive to all the sights and attractions in the Black Hills. Stayed in mid-October so enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. Kitchen equipped to make our breakfasts and dinners. Beds comfortable. Wi-fi spotty but made us get away from our devices.
What originally was a bucket list item to see Mount Rushmore expanded for various sightseeing day trips. Location was centrally located for us to get to all our destinations including Bad Lands, Devils Tower, Mt. Rushmore, Custer Nat’l Park, Sturgis/Deadwood, and Crazy Horse. Amenities were fantastic - washer/dryer and hot tub were great to have!
Enjoyed the stay - Really wonderful watching the horses run by daily.
The property is located in a community setting. A ranch is also located on the property - so it was convenient to go horseback riding and visit the ranch.
The property was well maintained and very comfortable for our family. The only request I would like to property owners to consider is to purchase a larger tv. But - on the other hand we were very busy every day site seeing - the property was convenient to many destinations.
The cabin was perfect for our family of 9. The grandkids, ages 3, 4, and 6 had a blast with the upstairs loft space. The cabin had great spaces on the main level too. We were able to relax in the living room by the fireplace and the kitchen area with the large table accommodated us well. A bonus was seeing a couple dozen horses run by the cabin. We all enjoyed that. We loved the cabin and had a wonderful time there. Our property manager was very friendly and helpful which made reserving and checking in and out an easy process. Thanks for the amazing stay!
Overall enjoyed the house. Loved the hot tub, the fireplace, and the general feel of the house. 3 of the bedrooms have privacy and then the remaining 3 beds are in more open spaces.
Only downside was the wifi is basically nonexistent and there's little to no cell service. Internet speed, if there was internet, was basically dial-up. Would not rent if you need internet/cell service for work.

Loved it!
We stayed 4 nights. My parents, my brother and his family of 4 and my family of 6. Kids loved the loft. We all enjoyed the hot tub. Such a fun surprise to see the horses run by. It was a tad cold or we would have for sure enjoyed the fire pit as well. Very clean and beautiful cabin. Would highly recommend to anyone. 15-20 minute drive to many of the attractions. Hill City alone has so much to offer. Trail rides offered within walking distance of cabin. Beds comfortable. Supplied well! Would stay again for sure!
