Really quiet, private spot on the edge of town. Comfortable beds and living space, well stocked kitchen. Great communication with owner, would recommend to anyone interested in seeing Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park!
Old Town Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. The cottage was spotless and very comfortable . The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. We loved that it’s a very short walk into town where there were many nice places to eat. It’s centrally located in the Black Hills so Mt. Rushmore, Sylvan Lake State Park and many other popular activities are a short drive.
Although we spent most of our time with family that live in Hill City, this cabin was the perfect place to retreat from the reunion! Comfortable bed, extremely clean and the location is absolutely perfect. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area.
We enjoyed our stay at the Old Town Cottage. It was the perfect size for us and the location was great...near everything for shopping and sight seeing. It was accurately portrayed on VRBO and definitely a great value.
Hill City is a great "Heart of the Hills" location. The Old Town Cottage was in town but felt like out in the hills. Very good communications with property manager. Likely stay there on our next trip to the area.
Loved the location. Onnthe edge of town, yet it felt like we were in a remote location. The cabin was nice, and very comfortable. We will definately rent again if we come back to the Hills.
Went on early season visit to Mount Rushmore and Custer state park. Beautiful area and we had the privilege of being first to stay at the property being renovated. Cottage was very nice and will be back.
Great property, clean and comfortable. Location in Hill City is in the middle of all the Western South Dakota attractions. Communication with Host was excellent. Would rent this property again.
We enjoy our stay at Old Town Cottage. It was clean and comfortable. The property was in walking distance to town and on a quiet road. It was nice to have a garage. We would stay here again.
We stayed for 3 nights. We enjoyed riding the 1880s train, visiting Mt Rushmore, and Custard, exploring Rushmore Cave, and walking around Hill City. We were very busy during the day, and it was nice to come home to our cozy and comfortable cabin. It was the perfect location.
