"Checkin in the app was a little more complicated than I expected, probably because I booked through Expedia and the hotel needed additional info. Front desk staff was friendly and provided information about the evening mixer and available breakfast. The room was exactly what we wanted: a nice seating area in front but a view of the river from the bedroom."

"I suggest pulling up the property on Google maps & checking the location from street view . The property itself is very nice.The kitchen and living room are spacious, as are the 2 bedrooms.The bathroom is good size and updated with modern upgrades.Being in the heart of Newport, the area is very walkable.The best part is that the Newport Pizza company is just a block away. On the subject of restaurants, the beautiful young lady tending bar at Urban Chick recommended the Mexican restaurant next door, and it was very good as well.I highly recommend Newport Inn number one."

"This was mine and my husband’s second time staying here! Jeff is a wonderful host! The weather was nasty with the temps dropping super low and Jeff was so accommodating, making sure we were nice and cozy. We actually extended our trip a day longer than planned and just hung out in our apartment, under the fur blanket, watching movies, and letting the snow melt away for our travels. We have close friends in the area, so we will be back and I won’t look anywhere else to stay except here! "
