"Nice quiet family holiday park that was super relaxing "

"We wanted an inexpensive couple of nights getaway. We stayed in a cosy cabin with all kitchen appliances & an amazing heater, the Neighbours walls could have done with more insulation, but the shower & pressure was outstanding. The owners & staff were definitely a reason we would return."

"At the end of a 2km dirt road you’ll find this expansive property with modest (extremely comfortable) properties (miners cabins.) Our property had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, very compact, comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy, the bathroom was quite small, but our hosts had provided all the special touches. The highlight was what the sanctuary was all about…. they are an active rescue sanctuary for a wide range of animals....

"Wonderful location. Cabins are in need of a spruce up but we still enjoyed our stay. Hot water was not working in our shower while we stayed... but we braved some cold showers... however we still enjoyed our time."

"We loved the Miner's Cottage and would stay again, the only thing is there is no internet access if you do need it. Also you need to bring your own shampoo as this isn't provided.. It may be a good idea to take some bottled water as you have to boil the water before you can drink it. Other than that we loved it, Andy was very friendly, the Cottage was lovely the bed was really comfortable, lovely walks along the river, we didn't want to leave.. Thanks for a lovely stay and for the fresh egg's...

"We booked this accommodation as I was playing in a 2 day tournament at Bright Golf Club. It is a lovely cabin just on the outskirts of town. For the energetic, you could easily walk / ride into town. The cabin had everything we needed. It is Pet Friendly too which meant our four legged family member didn't miss out either."

"This is a nice place and the owners are good people. Generally we'd recommend this as a place to stay. There are 2 caveats. First, it isn't really set up for any food prep beyond a toaster and small microwave. You couldn't even cook an egg for brekky. Second, the seating is not very comfortable--window seats are hard and the two chairs ditto. Fixing these would raise it to a five star as other things are very good ..."
