“We had such a great time! It was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Perfect spot if you’re looking for peace and quiet but still close enough to town. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back!”
We had a great time. Everything was great. The cabin is very clean and it has everything u can think off. The host was very friendly and responsive. Looking forward to staying again.
Our stay at the Songbird was great. The cabin was clean and haTell us about your stay*d everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well equipped. The living room comfy and the bedroom beds were also very comfortable. There were plenty of towels in each bathroom. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the hot tub.
Though there are several cabins nearby, this cabin was very quiet and the hillside was beautiful with leaves just turning to autumn reds and yellows. The cabin is super clean and tastefully appointed. The creek is good ways from the house down (and up) a fairly steep hill, I enjoyed the hot tub. The cabin is fairly close to Hiawassee and Clayton where we found some nice restaurants. The Rabun Bald and High Shoals Falls trails are great medium intensity hikes nearby. Odalys was a great host. We enjoyed this trip and would not hesitate to recommend the Songbird Creek Cabin to others.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and comfortable. The owners were thoughtful about including everything we might need for a comfortable stay. The location was great. Would definitely recommend!
The house was even cuter in person than online. Had everything we needed and then some. The hot tub was great. The bed was comfy. Plenty of room if we came back with our grown kids.
If you are looking for a special place to just unwind and slow down this is it. This cabin is so cute! Very nicely decorated and homey. It’s located in a nice quiet little community of cabins.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The property is very peaceful. The kitchen was (to me) surprisingly well appointed. Love the added pantry that guests can leave behind extra pantry staples.
Such a wonderful place for a quiet weekend. Make sure you ask about the trail down to the creek. So fun! Sooo many wonderful things. By the stream a fire pit. Swing. Picnic table. 3 outside areas hot tub area with chairs and a fire pit, screened porch perfect for game playing or eating and then swing and chairs by the basement. Oh and rocking chairs on the front. Great for a family too. Sleeps 6: 3 different sleeping areas with tvs and bathrooms. Total beds 2 kings.and 2 twins) comfy couch to watch tv in the main living room. Host was friendly when i had questions. Hiawassee not major tourist town so quiet but close enough to.go to.touristy areas like helen. Def recommend this place if youre a couple looking for a quiet weekend or a family looking for fun.
~This little place was clean, cozy, welcoming, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The owners addressed my concerns, and even was gonna help me get the GA game on!! Coffee on the porch in the morning with a fire was awesome. Listening to nature, sure hear lots of birds…. I’ll say this place, and the owners left a little song in my heart. I will be back. Thanks so much!
We had a great stay at this property. The owners really thought of everything. The hot tub was wonderful. The home was spacious. Our 18yr old and her friend (also 18) got the entire bottom floor to themselves, my husband and I got the rest of the house, as if it were 2 apartments in one. Just a couple things to note about the property: the driveway is very narrow, and parking is very tight for a large vehicle. We had a suburban and thankfully a backup camera to help guide. The creek, although it is beautiful and a great addition, sadly I could only visit it once because the walk down is steep and slippery, and it had just rained upon our arrival. If you want to hang out by the fire and make s’mores make sure you wear a backpack to carry your things down.
First, I regret not staying longer. We usually book a cabin for Fall and again in Spring with the occasional Winter booking. We had been staying in the Helen area but we live about an hour away from both Helen and Hiawassee. When we saw this cabin we decided to give Hiawassee a go. I knew Hiawassee from guiding on the AT so it wasn't unknown to me. The cabin and its location exceeded expectations. We loved the compact layout and the grounds. The fact that people had left things was excellent, other cabins typically expect you to take everything, so there usually are no leftovers. We really enjoyed the nearby winery and brewery as well as Brasstown Bald. Our one and only complaint, which is to be taken lightly, was the gentleman that blows the leaves. It would have been appreciated if he had begun his work a bit later than 9am. However, perhaps he has many houses to do and thus begins so early. Otherwise everything was flawless. We will be saving this cabin for future use. Thanks!
The cabin was very clean, very comfortable, kitchen was stocked with all the essentials! Loved the hot tub and the different touches throughout the cabin. Advice to guests to make sure you bring your groceries and enjoy your time! We will stay here again if possible!
