"Everything and anything in the castle stinks with cat urine! The sanitation department should check this place. A cat killed a mouse right in front of us in the "lobby"... The "apartment" rented to us was not a true rental, it was someone else's full time apartment that was cleaned for us. It had all the articles of the owner. Really gross. The people who live and work there really try hard and are nice, but not disclosing the cat pee stink and the fact that the property was someone's permanent...

"Um Zweisamkeit zu genießen ist diese kleine gemütliche Ferienwohnung ideal. Der Vermieter ist mit im Haus aber man hat eine eigene Wohnung mit separatem Eingang und seine Privatsphäre ist hier gegeben. Saunabereich ist im Keller den man leider nur von Außen erreicht aber das ist nur kurz um die Ecke und am Ende ist es sehr schön dort. Alles ist vorhanden, von Badeschuhen über Bademäntel, etlichen Handtüchern, Saunadüften, Lotion und Entspannungsmusik.Der Whirlpool ist das absolute Highlight. Es...

"I have never been treated so well by anyone when i have stayed at their place. Andrea was so helpful and attentive our every need and they provided us rides to the train station 2 times which was very helpful. Thank you for making our experience so enjoyable!!!!!!!"

"We enjoyed our stay here - it is pretty far from the center of the city though. The annoying thing was that the owner has put forth a lengthy set of complicated exit rules (removing towels and sheets, vacuuming the floors, removing trash etc). It felt like we were a cleaning crew on our way out - in most VRBO stays we’ve had, this is typically part of the cleaning fee. "

"The staff were spectacular -very helpful and kind. Room was clean, and modern. Lobby was nice. Easy walk to town and train station with a small grocery store at the other end of the parking lot. Shower was not easy to climb into and wouldn’t work for tall people. Also, the temperature control was confusing and didn’t seem to change the temperature no matter how we changed it. Still- I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it."

"Stayed here one night because of the lack of affordable accommodation in Leipzig. Hotel is across the road from the train station, making it convenient to get to Leipzig, which was our main priority. Hotel is surrounded by woodland and has parking available. Rooms are on the small side, but the biggest issue was that there is no air-conditioning (only a portable fan) or a fridge in the rooms and as they are on the top floor, they become stifling in the summer heat. You can't open the windows as there are mosquitos but no flyscreens. Staff were helpful with providing details on train times, etc."
