The Snug was perfect for our two night stay in raystown. The property was easy to find, clean, and quiet. This is the perfect place for a cozy romantic weekend.
This is a great little cabin in a great location close to the bike trails, 7 Points boat launch, restaurants and stores. It's quiet, it's clean, and we'd definitely stay there again. One small thing that would have been nice is a picnic table. But again, it was a nice cabin. The grill worked great, and the fire pit was nice too.
We were making a quick trip to Raystown for a couple days of riding the Allegrippis Trails; The Snug fit our needs. It was an easy 1/2 mile ride to the trail head; the neighborhood was quiet; the kitchen had the essentials; and the shower had sufficient pressure and hot water. Had we been staying longer, an oven and laundry facilities would have been welcome.
This property is close to The Lake and very clean and cute. I'm not sure if I did not read the listing as carefully as I should have as the kitchen is not a full kitchen with only an electric burner (not a stove or oven) and minimal utensils etc. I have food allergies and expected a full kitchen so a bit disappointing. Also feel they should be more clear about how step the steps to the bedrooms are as we are getting older and they were a bit challenging. But over all a nice "snug" place.
Sheets for the futon were not provided for. There are seem to be confusion that there were four adults staying when it was booked with only three. I missed the detail that there was no stove top or oven. Good planning may do And wonderful that there was propane gas grill cooking available. Management was very flexible in communicating with me since I created an issue on being noticed with Verbo. And management company made it easy for me. Is there was aManagement was very flexible in communicating with me since I created an issue on being noticed with Verbo. And management company made it easy for me. Is there was a little information of things to do in the area… More details of offerings and activities. Everything with the home was clean, the sealed sheets that were provided were lovely and appreciated. Don’t have to pack sheets or towels for the visit.
Came to boat on the lake for the fourth. Have stayed here multiple times and have enjoyed the privacy and boat parking and access to trails. There was an occupied camper parked on the property as well which was different than what we had expected and would have been nice to know ahead of time.
Tastefully remodeled, adequately appointed, frequented the local store about 5 minutes away. Located midway on the lake. Some confusion on the front door lock instructions, stairs to upper level can be very challenging for someone with mobility problems. Parked boat on property as permitted and enjoyed fishing and boating on the lake.
We enjoyed our stay here. The place was clean, accessible, as described and very close to the Alligrippis Trail parking area for fun mountain biking. We stayed here with two kids and seems like there would be room for more. We appreciated that it is pet free as my wife is highly allergic to animals. I would definitely visit again.
Great location to ride from to the Mtb trails! We received no wash cloths and there was apparent dog hair visible on the white bathroom door and some elsewhere but overall it met our expectations.
This place was a great little getaway for me and my husband , we had everything we needed ! Also so close to the lake and hiking trails . There is also a little store within a mile of us that has absolutely everything you need ! Will definitely one back
Bathroom wasn't the cleanest. The shower had a bit of mold, there was period blood on the floor, and the toilet was also not very clean. The smoke detectors went off if you tried to boil water, or if you left the light on in the loft for too long.
Place was great, just as advertised. There was an issue with the air condition units not blowing cold air. I called the number listed and they came that day to fix it. Will stay here if ever in the area again.
Convenient location extremely close to trails and Marina. We were able to easily mountain bike and hike as well as launch our boat. Love that there was enough parking for two vehicles and the boat. Home was clean and could easily sleep six people. It was nice to have a full-size fridge. The two burner stove
was a bit uneven to cook with, and the Wi-Fi was spotty but other than that it was perfect. We would definitely book here again.
Cieling in upstairs are to low hit your head if above 4 ft. Tall
Place was clean! But bedroom upstairs, be carefull if tall. Also billed twice ! Now have to deal with getting a refund!! Overall rating is due to being charged twice on credit card!!!!!!
Comfortable stay with great access to Allegrippis Trailhead
We stayed two nights in this cute and comfy rental. Listing was just as described and photographed. We stayed with our adult son and were in the area for mountain biking the Allegrippis Trails. Trailhead was super close and access to Raystown Lake Seven Points area was a short drive away. There was plenty of room for us to relax and sleep. Super quiet neighborhood and lots of stars to see on a clear night from the porch. Nice extras were included such as tin foil and cooking staples like olive oil. We used the grill outside for cooking as well a simple meal prep in the kitchen. We'll keep on our list for future visits to the area!
A friend and I met there and had a really nice weekend! The place was nice and cool and clean and a great location-close to the marina, beach and other local attractions. The “wifi” was a hotspot from a cell phone which was not at all reliable. And no way to watch TV without internet connection. Also the steps to the second floor were very steep. I have a bad knee so it was not easy-especially in the middle of the night. All in all it was a great place though! And a seriously beautiful trip!
New spot - a few wrinkles to iron out but overall a terrific getaway place!
I think we were one of the first people to stay here - I mean, the glass dish in the microwave was still in bubble wrap, and the place smelled freshly finished. There were there flaws - all easily addressed, and otherwise this was a real treat to find. The three issues we had were 1: Water- there was some water intrusion at the front door after a heavy rain, and there was some water leaking out of the shower when used. Both seemed like things that pop up and get addressed with a new build like this. We send a direct message to the property owner & they'll surely fix these. 2: stairs are steep - the stairs up to the loft are pretty steep. There's a railing and all - but if you aren't expecting it, it might be a problem...mentioning this in the description would solve it. and 3: There were a couple of windows that didn't have a way to cover them. Folks who will want to have privacy and total darkness will appreciate the option to cover windows.
That's it - minor stuff, all fixable. Otherwise this place was well appointed, clean, attractive, and accommodating. The internet worked fine using the provided phone as hotspot. There is a popular trailhead for accessing the Raystown Lake trails literally a 1 minute drive around the corner. Fire pit and accompanying Adirondack chairs looked great, though we didn't get to use it. Definitely would book here again.
