"We absolutely LOVED the Gainesville Hideaway. The location was perfect and the place was spotless and clean. It was also right in Haile Plantation's beautiful village which was magical at Christmas time with all the lights. We highly recommend it and we will definitely return!"

"Check in was easy and we were greeted by Sierra who gave us Hotel info including breakfast and coffee. Lobby was decorated for Christmas and it was lovely. "

"Great place and excellent location! King bed was super comfy, shower was awesome, too. Highly recommend. Would stay here again when in Gainesville. Heads up that there is a flight of stairs leading to front door in case you're travelling with folks who can't do stairs. "

"When we checked in, we were greeted by 2 roaches. The patio door was slightly open. The placed looked clean but it really needs a deep clean. Beds were comfortable. The pots and pans in the kitchen were a mess. I messaged the owner about these issues 2 times, and all I got were automated responses saying “Hope you have a great stay. Message me if you need anything.” One of the automated responses from the owner asked if I was interested in buying property in the area and that he could help me since he’s a realtor. That message came in while I was trying to contact him to ask for more towels and big spray. Overall the place provided what my family needed, which was a pet friendly place for us to stay, but it wasn’t what we were expecting or what the listing had promised. "

"My son and I went to the springs and stayed at this absolutely adorable studio. We are using it as inspiration for our new house! So cozy and comfortable. Plus the town is so beautiful and nice. Can’t wait to come back again! What an amazing experience, place and host!!!"
