Bay Dream - Hervey Bay
This modern spacious air-conditioned 3 bedroom (2 Queen + 2 Singles, which can form a king if required), 2 bathroom duplex, attached only at the fully enclosed double garage, boasts an excellent position in a quiet street. It is easy walking distance to many of Hervey Bay's beaches, best attractions and restaurants. The duplex's high quality furnishings, BBQ area and fully fenced private garden will provide a restful home at the end of your fun-filled days. All linen is included. Just bring your clothes and beach towels. Please note- we do not have wifi.
This accommodation includes a variety of games, DVD's, fishing equipment, bikes and helmets to ensure your holiday is indeed memorable. Please note we do not have WiFi connected.
Outside, well behaved dogs are welcome (please consult with us first), but sorry no cats. The property is fully fenced and there is a covered patio or an enclosed attached garage for their bedding if required.
You are only a few minutes walk to the Bay's famous pier (excellent for fishing), quiet sandy beaches, shady esplanade bikeways and walking tracks. For the less active visitors there are a variety of grassed picnic/ playground areas, restaurants, casual dining, coffee shops and eateries all with magnificent water views across to the famous Fraser Island. A 15 minute walk along a scenic path will bring you to Hervey Bay's vibrant marina. Here you will find a selection of shops and restaurants including the renowned Boat Club (with courtesy buses) and access to Fraser Island connections and whale watching tours. A similar distance in the opposite direction you have the Bay's Botanic Gardens/Orchid House and the Urangan Central shopping complex for all your shopping needs.
If you have your own boating vessel (or wish to hire) the harbour boasts excellent ramps for easy access to Hervey Bay's waterways. The River Heads boat ramp is a short drive away if you prefer fishing the Mary and Susan River systems. Within easy driving distance there are so many attractions in the surrounding areas, a return visit will be a must.
Pricing PLEASE NOTE: The price displayed is based on the sole use of the property with linen supplied for 2 people in the main bedroom/ ensuite. Additional guests are charged at $15/person/night. Really nice property, pet friendly, easy communication with Wendy, host. The area was very appealing to us as was the fact there were dog friendly beach areas, one 24/7 and the other 3-8 off leash within walking distance. Lots of cafes and take away. A really great area.
The unit is located in a small street in a great location in walking distance to the beach, pubs and shops. This is the second time we have stayed at this unit and would recommend it to anyone well done.
Host was helpful & easy to contact prior to arriving. Neat & tidy modern duplex. Well equipped. Very hot on back porch, a ceiling fan or blind would be helpful. Also darker window coverings on the bedrooms would be great. Overall a very comfortable stay & would love to stay again.

Whale watching and a visit to Bundaberg and Maryborough. Very central location to restaurants and a lovely clean well equiped home.

This was the perfect location and accommodation for us. We were fishing with a charter and it was just 5 minutes to the dock. Lots of stores were nearby as well. The home was perfect for us with lots of room and nice porch for relaxing.
We really enjoyed the space. It is a great house and a great lication. Our only issue, and this is not a reflection on the owner at all, was the poor internet reception.Everything about the house was fantastic.

This is a great property for 2 or 3 couples to stay at. Good size rooms, extremely comfy beds, a small-ish backyard and lots of light and fresh air. The house gets a lovely breeze through it - no need for aircon. Everything about the stay was very pleasant. The neighbourhood was very quiet and it was only a short walk to the Bayswater Hotel, the pier and the Urangan markets. Communication with the owner was great and she was very helpful. Would happily stay again. Thanks Wendy!
This place has everything you need. Very clean and close to everything. We knew there was no wifi but were not prepared for the dinosaur 4G speed though this is not the owners fault of course!
Wonderful property! Centrally located to all the facilities we needed. The property is very well equipped for all your holiday needs. Cooking facilities were great. House was very clean and tidy and easy to access with room for two cars. The property even has complimentary bikes, fishing rods and camp chairs to take to the beach. Excellent home away from home.

The location is perfect & the home very comfortable & roomy. The only negative I found was the bed in the main bedroom was very low & a tad hard for someone with back problems. Other than that, 10/10

This comfortable, clean, secure and well cared for abode presents beautifully. The gardens invite you to enjoy the morning birdsong and the interior is wonderfully cool with fresh beezes to encourage relaxation. The owners have ensured you feel right at home with rverything from apple peelers to pegs. The house is perfectly positioned two streets back from the esplanade, a short 10 minute walk from the pier and restaurants, shops and cafes. Thank you for a lovely stay.
The house was perfect, enough space to move around. Ideal for future family holidays including grandparents. We did have to travel with our dogs as it our regular kennel stay was fully booked so finding this accommodation was amazing! Wendy was happy to accomidate any requests. The yard was a perfect size for our 2 dogs. The front side gate was higher off the ground than expected and wasn't shown in the photos and our miniature dachshund was able to escape with ease but we came prepared. A lovely stay and look forward to staying in the future!
