"I have stayed at a lot of hotels in my life time and there is always a first. We took our big luggage to the car and put the DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door until we got back to get the rest of our stuff. When we got back, there was a older couple in our room and they had the whole room torn apart. When I asked what they were doing they just looked at me. I asked where our stuff was and they just put their hands in the air and said no touch, as it is run by a group who don't speak English. I said I had water and my medicane on the tv stand and they told me no. I said i did and my husbands yeti coffee mug as there also. He picks up the bottle out of the garbage and said empty. I said it wasnt as I had my medicine in the water. Then he walks over and gets my husbands mug out of his bag which had ice cold water in it. The whole time we were attemping to have some breakfast someone sits there and watchs you and what your eating. Everything was watered down. Waffle mix was so thin it came out as burnt brown rings nothing inside. I did it again and same thing happened. They are also remodeling the hotel as there was things taped in our room with a big yellow strip in the middle of the wall. Mattress sits on a piece of wood on a platform. A/C only worked part of the night. No pressure in the bathroom. Took 4 times to flush the toilet. The floors were not cleaned as I had to wash my feet twice before I put my shoes on. That sums it up so please beware and move on to another hotel. "

"No mixriwave or coffee maker in the room. The decor was like being in a college dorm room. NOT wirth the price we paid - very disappointing. "

"Room was marginal. Leaking tub all night was frustrating. Both queen beds had sagging mattresses. The breakfast was horrible. Limited items. I had stale cereal. The worst however was the rude and condescending staff. Upon checkout they scolded my wife for not reporting leaky tub. She responded with why didn’t cleaning crew report it before we checked in? We’re sorry we stayed here. "

"Enjoyed our stay despite the toilet getting stopped up, the tv not working, and the AC dying. Except for the AC, everything was fixed quickly. Staff reacted in a friendly and cooperative manner. Karaoke in the Bistro was great fun. Chocolate martinis were amazing. We would happily stay here again. "

"The room smelled moldy . It really needs to be updated. Everytime we walked in out of the room the owners were watching from a room above the hotel it was a little scary "

"Everything was in good working order but my room (#8) felt a bit like a prison – small, high windows you couldn't look out from, and that gave little natural light. Other rooms are probably better."

"Beautiful historical landmark to stay at. It is within very close proximity to the shops and restaurants. Free parking. It has everything you need for a short or longer stay. The quarters were smaller than I anticipated but everything worked very well. I enjoyed the size of the tub, water pressure and temperature. Lots of light. You do hear people talking and hanging in the back outdoor seating and people walking by at night. You can control room temps which is a plus. The bed was not comfortable for my stay but it may be okay for others."

"It was a nice touch to have a Hershey candy bar and a bottle of wine! I love the history of the building. The Italian restaurant below was absolutely delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable for accommodating my family of 4. "
