Living in the old castle Hersdorf

  • Pure village life: Our castle (built in 1509) is located in the middle of the picturesque Schönecker Switzerland in the old and quiet village of Hersdorf.
    Our comfortably furnished apartment in the former barn is an ideal starting point for hikes and explorations of the Eifel - from the volcanic Eifel with the Maaren on the Hohe Venn up to Luxembourg.
    Guests with children are as welcome as guests with pets.
    Just come here and let your mind wander.

Living peace

I stayed 2 weeks in peace. That´s something I have normally no time in my agenda. The accomodation is in the middle of exentive hiking ways and thats exactly what I was looking voor.

Vous rentrez dans ce gîte comme chez vous! Je n’ai vu la propriétaire que 5 minutes et par hasard! L’espace est grand et haut! Le poêle à bois était le bien venu pour la soirée. Très agréable. Petits bémols : apportez une petite grille pour le bbq… celle sur place n’est pas entretenue. Toiture en panneaux sandwichs, lors de fortes pluies, cela résonne dans le gîte. Lieu relativement calme, vous êtes dans un village avec des fermes… passages de tracteurs.Visitez le château à Schönecken… balade très agréable. Petit resto italien au centre… repas très correct.Bon séjour à vous.

Het huis is comfortabel, schoon en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Julietta is erg vriendelijk en lost eventuele problemen meteen op. De omgeving is erg mooi en vanaf het huis en in de directe omgeving kan je prima wandelen.

Schöner Kurztrip

Schönes Wandergebiet

Wir haben eine gut ausgestattete Unterkunft, nach Beschreibung, erwartet und auch bekommen. Danke Für das Aprilwetter kann die Gastgeberin nichts :) Es sind viele Wanderkartenmaterialien im Angebot gewesen und die Gastgeberin hatte noch ein paar Infos. Die Ortschaft selber ist sehr ruhig und Gerolstein nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Wer allerdings einen vernünftigen Kontakt zum App-Anbieter erwartet, ist leider falsch aufgehoben.

Entspannter Wanderurlaub in besonderer Atmosphäre

Es war ein sehr schöner Kurzurlaub in besonderer angenehmer Umgebung. Die Gastgeber sind herzlich und unkompliziert, die Ferienwohnung ist besonders und geräumig. Die Austattung ist sehr luxuriös und komfortabel. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die Gegend lädt zum Wandern ein. Wir können den Aufenthalt in der Alten Burg Hersdorf nur empfehlen.

Entspannter Kurzurlaub in der Natur

Die modern kernsanierte Scheune bietet viel Raum und ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Der große Holzofen mit Sichtfenster spendet eine wohlige Wärme, die bis in die obere Etage zieht, wo sich ein bequemes Doppelbett befindet. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Kochen braucht. Die Ruhe der Umgebung ist sehr wohltuend. Schöne Wanderrouten sind in der Nähe zahlreich.
