Stunning home on 7 acres with 5400sf of indoor/outdoor living space

  • Newer Luxury Property that is unique, peaceful and near the heart of the amazing Black Hills! Our home has 3500 sq ft of beautiful indoor living space and a 1900 sq ft spectacular outdoor covered patio. The design of the home makes it ideal for family reunions, a large gathering of friends, business retreats, etc…
    After enjoying the day exploring all of what the Hills has to offer or just hiking the 3 plus trails on the wooded 7 acres, you can relax on the patio where you can either grill, have ribs in the smoker or make hotdogs for the kids on the hotdog roaster. Enjoy a beverage at the very large bar or sitting and watching the 2 outdoor TV’s. Morning, evening or anytime of the day is a perfect time for soaking and enjoying the view in the Salt water Hot tub!
    Head inside to what we like to call the Buffalo Lounge! It is a fun place to sit back and enjoy a drink or play a game of cards; make popcorn and watch TV or just relax by the wood burning fireplace.
    Where do families like to spend time? Around the island in the large kitchen that has both a gas range and electric oven for those big family gatherings. The kitchen/ living room/dining room combination has a very large open floorplan with a vaulted ceiling. You can also enjoy TV or gather around the fireplace.
    When it’s time to say goodnight, you can choose from 5 different bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed with a large walk-in shower and closet. 3 bedrooms with a queen bed and 1 large bedroom with a queen bed and a full over full bunkbed with a twin trundle. Sleeps up to 15 people plus if you are very adventurous there is a hide-a-bed out on the covered patio.
    There are 3 bathrooms and a 4-stall garage with one of the stalls being used as a rec area for the kids to hangout! One more added bonus, there is a sauna.
    The house is centrally located in the Hills. You are 8 miles to Custer State Park, 17 miles to Mount Rushmore, 25 miles to Rapid City and close to historical Keystone, Hill City, and Custer.

We had a great stay! We traveled as a group of 7, 4 adults and 3 tweens and we had plenty of room to spread out. The house was not ready at check-in but everything was very clean. The kids loved the outdoor games and fire pit. It was a great spot after a long day of sightseeing

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful time. The property seemed more like a home than a rental property. Excellent condition, well appointed, very clean and all of the amenities that are listed are great. Location is close to lots of destination spots. We would recommend and come back to this property.

Great Black Hills Location

Centrally located to take-in the wonderful areas of the Black Hills and then be able to come “home” to this amazing house and enjoy the indoors and outdoors with all the variety of spaces to enjoy - it had something for everyone!

Perfect place to stay

This home was the perfect place to stay while visiting the Black hills area. It is away from town but it’s a gorgeous property with so much to do. We traveled with four adults and six kids and we all loved the property. Kitchen was over the top equipped and the toiletries ( shampoo, conditioner, and body wash) were a great amenity along with all the other extras.

Great place!

We had our family Christmas and had a wonderful time! Plenty of space and seating for three families with kids of all ages. It was unusually cold during our stay so we were unable to enjoy the outdoor area, we hope to be back when the weather is more suitable!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay! Communication was excellent with both questions about the home and things to do in the area being answered before we even booked. Then when things came up during the stay they were addressed immediately. It was the perfect location for our home base and close to our daily adventures. The house is clean with lots of space and well stocked. Our granddaughter had fun playing shuffleboard, air hockey and hiking the trails right outside the door. The adult kids enjoyed the sauna and salt water hot tub. The covered outdoor space being a favorite for all!! We loved having fireplaces that you could actually use-an ideal and cozy way to unwind after a busy day. I also reccomend getting ahold of Julie and Festus at J&F Tails and Trails for a trail ride just down the road from the house. Beautiful ride with a history lesson built in. Don't forget to go for the prime rib at the Lazy R Bar & Grill right in Hermosa. Thank you Jeff and Laura for sharing your gorgeous home !

Giant House in Hermosa

The property was well maintained and stocked. The outside covered patio was amazing and our group spent a lot of time out there. The nightly wildlife shows were enjoyed by all! Location provided easy access to Custer State Park and the Black Hills.

Perfect home for our SD visit!

Property was exactly as shown. Absolutely beautiful! We loved the outdoor patio area for relaxing by the fire after a day out exploring everything the area had to offer. Inside had everything we needed for a group between 10 and 75!

Family Vacation

This was our family’s Christmas present. We went out exploring the area, there’s so much to do out here. I’d recommend this place for large families anytime. We enjoyed the covered patio and having fires in the fire pit. The kitchen was well stocked and great to cook as a family.

Such a beautiful property

We stayed at this beautiful home in South Dakota for four nights and had a fantastic experience. The house was clean, spacious, and offered plenty of entertainment options for the whole family. The kitchen and bar were incredibly well stocked. We especially loved the stunning views and the fantastic outdoor living space — perfect for relaxing at any time of day. No issues at all during our stay. We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a family getaway!

My wife and I stayed here for 6 nights and absolutely loved it! This house was immaculate. We cannot stress enough how clean this house was...thoroughly impressed! Absolutely Gorgeous!

The house is stunning -- beautifully built, awesome layout with lots of space, very clean, lots of great amenities for vacationers and large groups such as ours. The outdoor space is incredible! Pictures do not do this propety justice! The owners were super attentive and kind. This house will be our choice every year for the Black Hill Stock Show!

Stunning

The pictures do not do the home justice. It’s just beautiful. Very homey too. We had 3 young kids with so wanted to cook at the house. They had spices and nice cookware. Will absolutely stay again when we’re in the area.

Wonderful family vacation

My husband and I planned this trip for our 40th wedding anniversary with our three sons, their wives and grandkids. The house was perfect for us and the kids absolutely loved all the space outdoors. We had a ballgame out in the yard every night. The covered porch was a wonderful way to end the day and we used the grill and hot dog roaster. Jeff and Laura were wonderful and took great care of us. Would highly recommend this property.
