Cute Apartment Across From Ocean

Cute apartment right across from the ocean, parking right in front of unit. Good location to explore the D Day beaches and St. Mont Michelle. Friendly owner. Would stay again.

The property was accurately advertised. Lots of space for my family of four. Comfortable beds, space to relax and watch tv and a full sized table to have family meals. We enjoyed our stay and Francois was quick to respond.

Perfect Beach Location

The apartment was a great place to rest and relax after a day at the beach. The location is a mere block from the beach and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. It was perfect!

We would have liked bigger towels for the other two adults rather than hand towels. There were no cleaning paper towels or cloths so I could clean properly. And I couldn't find a new liner to put it in the bin in the kitchen. The salt container was empty and no pepper. The sunflower oil bottle is almost empty. Thanks for letting us stay.

Ik vond de schoonmaak niet geweldig bij aankomst, de glazen waren smoezelig, de vloer was ook niet heel schoon, koekast rook heel muf (was met een citroentje zo verholpen gelukkig) en zo nog het een en ander. Stofzuiger hangt van ducktape aan elkaar, wat de boel niet gemakkelijker maakt... Verder was het bed wel erg hard voor ons. Maar als je houdt van een hard bed is de locatie in ieder geval wel perfect. Het is letterlijk de weg oversteken, 2 minuten lopen en je zit aan een prachtig strand waar je mooi langs kunt wandelen, zelfs in het donker want langs het strand zijn lantarenpalen. Als je langs het strand loopt tot de draaimolen zit in een zijstraat een lekker bakkertje ( normaal kun je bij een cafe op de hoek halen maar die had net een week vakantie) en een erg leuk eet rentje, heel gezellig ook met gezelschappspellen en hele vriendelijke mensen genaamd Mister burger in Lion-sur-mer. Al met al hebben we ondanks het harde bed een heerlijke week gehad. Zo vlak bij Caen en de stranden van D-day was er genoeg te doen! Oh, de tv heeft sateliet, voornamelijk veel franse en duitse zenders.. de kustplaatsjes waaronder Hermanville-sur-mer en de daaraan grenzende plaatsjes waren allemaal even lieflijk en pittoresk en de mensen waren zeer vriendelijk.

Au top !

Super séjour pour la 2ème année consécutive dans cet apparemment spacieux, propre, linge de lit et serviettes de bain fournis ainsi que savon pour les main, liquide vaiselle, papier toilettes, lit parapluie plus le matelas pour les touts petits... tout y est ! La plage est juste en face, 2 minutes à pied ce qui est appréciable. Pour les courses, il y a un intermarché à 5 min en voiture.Et pour finir le propriétaire François est très sympathique, à l'ecoute, arrangeant, réactif. Merci François, nous recommandons cet apparemment, et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.Sejour avec 4 enfants : 13, 11, 7 et 2 ans ainsi que les parents.

Einfache Ferienwohunung

Die Wohnung liegt im ersten Stock eines größeren Gebäudes mit mehreren Appartements, das von außen aber wenig Ähnlichkeit hat mit dem Foto. Die Lage ist direkt an einer viel befahrenen Kreuzung, sodass man mit einigem Verkehrslärm rechnen muss. Die Sauberkeit ist eher gering, in der Küche fehlen einige Utensilien. Die Küche ist renovierungsbedürftig. In dem Haus übernachten viele Leute nur für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise. Der Weg zum Strand ist dafür aber wirklich kurz und der Vermieter sehr nett.

Das Grundstück ist eine Baustelle

Die Umgebung ist toll und die Wohnung gut für ein paar Urlaubstage. Das Grundstück war leider eine Baustelle mit Lärm und Zementstaub, daher war der Balkon leider gar nicht und der Garten kaum benutzbar.

Très bon séjour dans ce magnifique appartement fonctionnel. Parfait pour une famille. Juste la rue a traverser et il y a la mer ! Le propriétaire est très sympathique, joignable et réactif. Je recommande vivement.

Maison en construction dans le jardin

Bonne communication et appartement propre. Mais la photo de la maison n a rien à voir avec la réalité actuelle: la totalité du jardin est en travaux en raison de la construction d une extension de la même taille que la maison sur toute la pelouse . Ouvriers présents et bruits de chantier à 8h30 le matin. Nous n étions là qu une nuit mais je n imagine pas une semaine de vacances; il n est vraiment pas correct de ne pas l avoir signalé.

Ce logement est correct et très bien placé par rapport au mémorial de caen ou omaha beach. (20min en voiture) Ce logement est à 5 minutes à pied max de la mer Des détails pour le confort (par exe : vaisselle réduite : pas de saladiers, pas de bols) sont à revoir. La propreté du logement est perfectible.
