Set on a hill in a rural village, Maria's House provides a peaceful starting point for exploring the island, or simply relaxing, with lovely views across the patchwork of fields, rolling hills and vineyards below, with just one other villa alongside. It has 2 double bedrooms, and a split level open plan living/dining area with kitchen. Outside there is a private swimming pool (9X5m) and carefully tended garden with terrace, barbecue and bread oven. The shops and tavernas are only a ten-minute drive away and Knossos and the unspoilt beaches of the south coast are within easy striking distance. The attractions of Heraklion are less than half an hour away, including the impressive archaeological museum. Smoking - not allowed.
