Clean and comfortable rooms . Wonderful breakfast . Staff were all very friendly and happy. We were extremely happy with everything about the hotel and position

The hotel was beautiful and our room was large. We got here early and our room was ready but they asked for a £20 fee to go in early … we couldn’t understand that . Apart from that all was good . Nice continental breakfast.

Comfortable room with great view of ocean. Included breakfast was filling. Flat white from coffee machine was ok. Food in Thai restaurant was good.

Beautifully restored heritage pub with quality materials, great service (thanks sidney) , Harveys on tap, great breakfasts and lovely location opposite the train station and walking distance to the sea

Bed uncomfortable Very quiet Staff good Breakfast very good

Very good service and room was exceptional. Clean and tidy. Friendly. Breakfast kept you going all day. A walk of 5 minutes into town centre if on foot. Owner more than accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.

Huge room and breakfast was amazing, truely four star. Walking distance to the Barbican area. Our only issue was we were on the top floor and there was no lift. 50 steps from the back car park. I am sure they would put a lift in if the building was not heritage listed. If you have mobility problems make sure to ask for a room close to the ground. Overall very impressive and good value for money all fittings and fixtures were high quality.

We stayed in a double room which was a good size and nicely appointed and clean. the staff at the front desk were very welcoming and great hotel as we were flying out of the south terminal and so only a 7-10min walk to the check in desks. We traveled to the hotel by train which is super convenient and only a 5 min walk from the station to the hotel. Plenty of eating options in and around the hotel, in walking distance. We will definitely use again if traveling through Gatwick.

Stayed for 2 nights as was visiting family in Coldwaltham. Delightful small pub just taken over by new crew. Warm welcome and brilliant staff. Clean & comfortable stay in a quaint local pub. Food was good as well.

Fantastic location very central to the main shopping area, and just a very short walk to the beach. Many dining choices nearby
