The location is 10 minutes from the entrance to Pisgah National Forest and 12 minutes from Dupont State Forest: a perfect jumping off spot for hikers, mountain bikers, fishermen, kayakers and anyone who enjoys the outdoors. We are also located just minutes from three boat launches on the French Broad River. If you need to work, we have high-speed cable wi-fi. We also have streaming cable TV via Comporium and FireStick. There are three smart TV's - one in the living room and one in each main level bedroom. The home has an open floor plan with plenty of south facing windows to take in the pond view and winter mountain and river views. There is a stone gas fireplace for chilly nights and a gas grill on the wide covered porch. There are two bedrooms with king-sized beds on the main level, each with a full bath (one is private and one opens to the laundry/mudroom) as well as a loft with a queen-sized bed and a full-sized Serta foldout sleeper loveseat (very comfortable with no bar). The finishes include oak and tile floors, stainless steel appliances (oven/range is gas), and granite countertops in the kitchen and baths.
