A great gathering place for family!

What a wonderful vacation spot! The accommodations were so, so nice and the porch was perfect for our family get-togethers. The place was furnished beautifully - the beds were so comfy and the proximity to downtown was wonderful. To top it off the store below was great for shopping. We will definitely be back and we thank our hosts for their outstanding hospitality!

July 4th stay

I would’ve preferred that the listing showed that temperature control is not up to the guests and that you need to contact the owner. It was very hot at times since it is an upstairs unit. The bathroom (bathtub) looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while and that was slightly disappointing. Overall it was ok.

Great experience!

The Willow Street property is quaint, clean, well maintained, and convenient. We spent most evenings and mornings on the large and inviting porch enjoying the neighborhood. There were thoughtful touches throughout the property and we had everything that we could need. Parking was more than ample, check in/out was simple, check out instructions were reasonable, and the property was literally 5 min from Main St. (Drive, not walk) While we were very happy with our stay, there are a few things that potential renters should know. First, the traffic from the street can get VERY loud. There were several times when souped up cars with loud mufflers would go flying past like they were racing. The property managers wisely include white noise machines and ear plugs in both bedrooms. But the front bedroom that faces that road is the single so can be disturbing to young kids. My 19 year old was often awakened by it but it only lasts a few seconds. Next thing is that you have no control over the thermostat. You have to notify the property manager before 6pm to change it. Normally not a problem but communication with the property manager was very poor, even before we arrived. I texted a few questions to her a few days before our trip and never got a response. So I emailed and still didn’t get a response. These were time sensitive questions about things we may need to bring as the listing wasn’t clear on some things. We got a response the day after we arrived. We were uncomfortably hot the first night there, so we followed the instructions and reached out about the issue way prior to 6pm. We still don’t know if she received our request. We never received a response and we were still hot at night. The store below is wasn’t open the whole time we were there, which is disappointing because we come to Hendersonville to shop. But In peeking through the windows, it looks cute and eclectic. The property is “vintage” but very well done. With older properties come some quirks but nothing that makes for a bad stay. Be understanding and patient and appreciate the charm of a bygone era. Nice use of space and all around a great place. We have stayed in many rentals as we visit Hendersonville frequently. My husband says this is his favorite so far and wants to stay here again. We wholeheartedly agree!! We enjoyed ourselves immensely and recommend Willow Street Market!
