About this property
Cabin on the Hill-Peaceful 1BR 20-Acre Rural Retreat-HotTub&WiFi near Asheville
The Cabin on the Hill at Clear Creek Cabins is one of four cabins, situated and landscaped for privacy, scattered about our 20 acre partially wooded property. The Cabin on the Hill has our best view (see photos). It is just inside the edge of the wooded portion of our 20 acre property. This allows for both a view from the covered porch and privacy afforded by the trees. There are woods behind the Cabin on the Hill for miles (not all ours!).
Cabin Features: The covered porch features rocking chairs, a hot tub, and an outdoor dining table. The cabin has a gas log fireplace, air conditioning, smart TV with DVD player, wifi, microwave, toaster, blender and coffee-maker. Linens, dishes, and kitchen utensils are provided. The cabin has an outside electric BBQ grill. The cabin is well prepared for the rare power outage, with a gas log fireplace for heat and a gas stove for cooking. There is a fire pit near the pond.
Area Activities: While many guests simply relax on the property for their entire stay, there is much to do in the area – hiking and waterfall viewing in state and national forests, a visit to Historic Hendersonville, dining at the many great area restaurants just a short drive away, visiting the many surrounding state and national parks and forests (Dupont, Pisgah, the Blue Ridge Parkway), and of course visiting the famous Biltmore Estate. Horseback riding is available in the area, as are visits to numerous wineries, and breweries, plus a cidery and meadery, many of which have live music and food trucks. Hiking locations are abundant. Spring and fall driving tours of our apple growing country side are available with many fruit stands to select from.
Surveillance device notice: We are in the process of adding cameras to our properties. Cameras are near stairs to the cabin and cover the stairs and parking space. Cameras record video. Additional cameras on our property cover portions of the road to the cabins (Wyatt Lane). Interior and hot tub areas are NOT covered.
The guest must sign a Vacation Rental Agreement, as required by NC law, within 24 hours of booking or the reservation will be canceled.

We loved our stay here! The cabin was very clean and well equipped with anything we need for the long weekend. We loved the location and seclusion of the cabin.
This cabin is a great get away for couples. The property has is beautiful and it’s located very close to chimney rock. Kaye is super helpful and made us feel right at home.
What a beautiful secluded place to get away and relax.
The cabin was very cute and clean. I loved the check in process. It was a nice secluded place to just kick back, relax, and enjoy nature. I loved the pond and the small hiking trail.
The beautiful use of space nuzzled in the trees. We rested, relaxed, hot tubed, napped, hiked, and discovered the area. It’s perfect to drive about anywhere. The hosts were amazing!!!
Tranquil and cozy. The driveway and parking area is limited so a pickup truck/SUV is recommended. The shower is a tight fit, but the cabin is perfect for two. If you are looking for a quiet getaway off the beaten path, this place is for you. We enjoyed our time together and the area.
Kaye was friendly and very accommodating! The cabin had everything we needed plus some great extras. The location was perfectly situated between Hendersonville, Lake Lure/Chimney Rock and Asheville! We especially appreciated her recommendations for restaurants and antiquing. Bravo!!!
The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed. The host had truly thought of everything. The process was easy. The fireplace was cozy and the hot tub was relaxing. Property was quiet and secluded. Exactly what we were looking for! It was a delightful property to stay at. Thanks
My husband and I came to visit needing some alone time together. We loved how cozy and secluded our cabin felt. The hot tub was a great addition as well. On property, we hiked, fished, explored, and ate fresh apples. Off property we spent our days antiquing, wine tasting, and we visited the Biltmore. It was a fantastic stay and just what we needed. When we come back, we will definitely stay here again! Thank you Kaye!
Four cabins set on this private 20 acre farm. We stayed in cabin on the hill which had a great long range view. As mentioned in the listing, we definitely needed our four-wheel-drive to most easily navigate the drive up to the house. This is our first tiny house we’ve stayed in and we found it to be perfectly comfortable and provided every amenity that we needed. The hot tub was perfect after days of hiking and visiting local attractions. We appreciated its location in between both Hendersonville and Asheville. The robes and slippers were a very nice touch.
The only advice to the property owner is to provide plusher towels. We found the thin towels to be a little drafty and chilly after cool evenings in the hot tub or shower.
But no other issues at all. Thanks for the lovely stay.
