"We enjoyed our stay and loved the cabin."

"Our family and dog had a great time during our stay. The cabin is beautifully updated and had everything we needed. It was close enough to Durham for a few day trips and far enough from everything else to really appreciate the surrounding nature. We spent time on the dock, in the hot tub, and by the fire pit. The pond was great for nature watching and we tried some fishing from the dock and had a few bites. Overall our kids enjoyed the space and we had a great time. "

"The Pirates' Den cabin was an affordable and cozy place to stay during our weekend trip to Kerr Lake, which is just a 10-minute drive away. Shirley was a great host and very quick to respond when we had questions. My partner and I enjoyed our stay, but we did have a couple complaints: We knew our cabin was on the property of a B&B, but we did not know that it's located in a trailer park. "This is a small historic barnwood cabin on a gorgeous vineyard. Considering this, it's a beautiful cabin; dry with electricity and plumbing. It's perfect for a close couple or a single person as the bathroom does not have a door. We loved the experience and would stay here again if needed."

"Our stay was quiet, peaceful, and a much-needed break from the day to day. Even during the overcast, and often rainy, weather, with the occasional shower of pollen, it was a beautiful spot to relax. Also, we made friends with the neighbors' turkey Arnold. Which was quite the surprise to meet such an approachable turkey. It was hard for him to say goodbye...he appeared at the doorway later that day."
