Desperately needs a handyman...

Spartan rooms. No curtain on bathroom window. No blackout curtains. No shelves or place for toiletries. No water trap valve on toilet, so sulphur smell is prevalent. Japanese style tub/handheld showrr wand. Would not be safe to stand and shower, and neighbors have full view as it is. Rooms are tiny.

No staff onsite. To check-in we were given a phone # to call for lobby and room key code access. No one answered the phone. Local Icelander helped because there was another hotel with same owner in the next town and she called them to help us with access code. Others had the same problem. One couple had to sleep in their car because they couldn’t get their access code via phone instructions either.

Simple et correct

Expérience étrange du check-in par téléphone, pas de personnel sur le site de l’hôtel. Cela faisait un peu un hotel fantome à notre arrivée car peu de clients également.

There was no staff on hand. Check in was done via phone call and door codes were provided. No breakfast was included although part of the price. I believe this may have been a last minute change due to COVID

Die Rezeption des Hotels ist nicht besetzt. Der „Check-In“ erfolgt telefonisch bei einer sehr unfreundlichen Dame, die einem die Zimmernummer und 4-stelligen Code durchgibt. Damit kommt man dann ins Hotel und ins Zimmer. Im Hotel riecht es überall recht unangenehm. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber grundsätzlich in Ordnung. Das Fenster lässt sich kaum öffnen. Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht. Das Frühstück wurde jedoch „aufgrund Corona“ gestrichen. Der wahre Grund dürfte wohl eher der sein, dass wir die einzigen Gäste im Hotel waren. Eine (Teil-)Erstattung seitens des Hotels wird abgelehnt. Definitiv keine Empfehlung wert.

처음에 후기 보고 걱정했는데.. 그정도는 아니였던거 같네요 너무좋았습니다 이런 장소에서 내가 숙박을 하다니..하면서 좋았습니다 다음에도 이근처에 여행을 한다면 꼭 방문 할 예정입니다

Das Frühstücksbuffet war zwar nett hergerichtet, aber die Auswahl war sehr bescheiden. Wie schon bei einem anderen Hotel der Welcome Gruppe wird nur Toastbrot angeboten. Normales Brot oder Gebäck sucht man vergebens. Die Aufstriche und die Butter werden mit der Kunststoffverpackung am Buffet präsentiert. Schinken und Wurstangebot entsprach nicht unserem Geschmack.

We had a end room with a beautiful window view of Snaefells Glacier and it was comfortable and clean. But there are no service folks on site in the evening. So if you have an issue you must call and hope they can resolve it. We didn't have any issues, just be sure you have your codes to enter the front and the room (you'll need one for each). The breakfast was standard fare of fruit and a few other items, but suited us fine. Location is great!

Une soirée de passage. Hôtel qui s'auto gère. Le manage pourrait être mieux fait. Le petit déjeuner vous permettra de couper la faim de la matinée mais sans plus. Une chambre pour 4 a 280e, ça ne valait pas plus.

Very poor communication, we called them 22 times in 1.5 hour. No one answered the phone, it kept saying user busy. We had to actually change our plan and drive to hotel to make sure we will be able to check in. There were no toiletries in the bathroom. Worst hotel experience of our entire trip.

Opplevelsen var veldig bra når vi endelig fikk kontakt med noen som kunne låse oss inn og gi oss et hotellrom. En glipp fra hotell.com, vi fikk aldri mail om kode på inngangsdør og intet tildelt hotellromnr. Måtte vente ute lenge.

Das Hotel ist recht alt und die Betten entsprechend durchgelegen. Es war alles sauber, aber der Fön war defekt und da die Rezeption nicht besetzt ist, konnte man es schlecht melden. Die Lage ist gut, das Frühstück leider nicht. Für eine Nacht war es okay.

Sehr schöne Lage, sehr einfach zu finden. Freundliches Personal. Angemessenes Frühstücksangebot. Allerdings lange dunkle Haare an der Bettwäsche. Im gesamten Zimmer und Bad roch es nach Abfluss, weil die Sanitäreinrichtungen anscheinend lange nicht benutzt wurden.
