"I think Sophie needs to translate her communication to English before she send it as I had to use the translator to understand her message,only because on the site says communication possible in bilingual..also it says sheets available,but £6 A pair I asked for explanation but not clear ended up with no bed bottom sheet and pillow cover ...she is lovely it's my second time with her..all the best"

"Cleanliness a real issue. Poor quality old bed linen, very poor sofa, not at all comfortable. The place needs some tlc and a really good clean, could be really nice if it were better organised and sorted."

"Lovely traditional French cottage. Everything we needed for our stay. There was a little confusion with the rooms as the listing stated 3 bedroom and also 4 bedrooms but said sleeps 8. So we were confused. However when we got there there was 4 bedroom. Really spacious rooms. Thanks for a lovely stay."

"This is a wonderful living space, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely garden. The host was very helpful. For big family gatherings you can book the gite right next door. It has less living space but more than one bathroom."

"We booked our trip the day before as a last minute break. Sabine is a wonderful host who made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The gite is very close to the Belgian border and we visited several historic sites as well as a brewery tour. Would highly recommend as a base for anyone wishing to explore Passchendale, Ypres and other WW1 places of interest. Thank you Sabine, we very much enjoyed our stay."

"First of all Damien & his wife were very welcoming & friendly and throughout all communications were clear and responded to quickly. The house is very well equipped, with nothing required or needed and the welcome gift of wine & honey was a real treat (we went to visit the seller/provide of the honey to buy some to take home, as it was that good). The garden is bigger than even the pictures suggest and is well maintained and beautiful with all the facilities regards varying chairs to sit & lie...

"Great communication from Julie from the very beginning of the booking process. The house is located on a canal with endless walking and running routes. Great local brasseries for dinner, Louvre Lens is 30 min away. Charlie our dog had an amazing time and is currently fast asleep and shattered. Can definitely recommend if you are looking for a location less than a hour from Calais"

"My wife, our three children and I recently returned from our stay in Blessy. The cottage was clean and well equipped. It had a private garden, a great pool area and an idyllic garden and paddocks. Our host were very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Blessy is a pretty village with a cafe and a small vending machine type shop, which is handy for bread and milk etc but the nearest supermarket is a 10 min drive away, so having a car is useful. "We had a lovely stay here. The surroundings are beautiful and the host is really helpful. The children loved playing on the swing and meeting the dog Toby. We went to Dunkirk museum, Lille, Bruges, Ypres and Brussels. There are shops a ten minute drive away which are easily accessible. We would definitely return in the future! Thank you!"
