Beautiful home in Hejls with sauna

Vacation home in a unique location on a 14,000 m² plot and its own piece of beach, which is rarely found in Denmark.The thatched house is surrounded by terraces that allow many outdoor activities, on the sunny days just as on balmy summer evenings. On the property there is, among other things, a private garden pond and an orangery, where you can stay outside until late in the year, in the back of the garden are grapes. From the terraces, the garden and from inside the house you have a magnificent view of the Little Belt. Walk down to the beach, which lies directly under the house, and enjoy the beach life undisturbed and without masses of other beachgoers. Inside the house is bright and friendly, from the entrance area three steps lead to the two large living rooms, one of which forms an open combination with the kitchen. From one living room you can access a large terrace with different levels, where you can enjoy the vacation and the view of the water. In addition to a guest toilet, the house also has a large bathroom with whirlpool, where aching muscles can be treated with a water massage. With its forest, fields and beach, the Grønninghoved area is the ideal vacation spot for families with children. To the nearest larger city, Kolding, it is only a few minutes drive. Here you can do excellent shopping in the Einjaufs street or also in the shopping center Kolding Storcenter. You will also find Koldinghus Castle, which is really worth a visit. Grønninghoved Strand has often been awarded as Denmark's most child-friendly beach, making it ideal for families with children who can enjoy a vacation with lots of swimming fun.

Great view but not clean at all

Very nice location, but the house was not clean. We spend the first day doing a detailed cleaning so we could use the bathrooms and kitchen. We also ha a really big problems with Moskitos and flies , I e evening we had round about 50 in just one bedroom. Window screens would be a great solution!

Das Haus hält, was die Anzeige verspricht. Wunderschön gelegen, großzügig, mit tollem Blick und aller Ausstattung, die man für einen entspannten Herbsturlaub braucht. Man kann wunderbar die Seele baumeln lassen und ist dennoch recht schnell bei verschiedensten Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Billund, Kolding mit Koldinghus, Christiansfeld,...Das Haus war innen recht sauber als wir ankamen, allerdings gab es echt viele Spinnen-Spinnweben in den Ecken und an den Decken und von außen an den Fenstern in den Schlafzimmern, so dass man nach dem Lüften viele Mitbewohner hat. Die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet aber deutlich in die Jahre gekommen.Die Betten waren sehr bequem und durch die Voreinstellung der Heizung war das Haus durchgehend angenehm warm.Einziger echter Wermutstropfen: es gibt einen Holzofen im Wohnzimmer und diese tolle Kombination aus Sauna und Badezuber im Garten aber man bekommt nirgends Holz gekauft und es gibt auch keine Möglichkeit das Supermarktholz, dass wir irgendwo auf einem Ausflug erstanden haben, in kleine Scheite zu spalten. Schade, denn so kann man diese Ausstattung nicht nutzen.

Wie schade

Das Haus hat eine traumhafte Lage. Auch einige schöne Details wie Sessel, Esszimmertisch, bequeme Betten sind zu finden. Leider entsprechen nicht alle Bilder den Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Ein ungepflegter Garten, eine verharzte und somit nicht nutzbare Sauna, eine verdreckte, kaputte Küche sowie ein ungereinigtes Haus mit verdorbenen Lebensmitteln vom Vormieter,stinkendem Kühlschrank, schimmeligem Geschirr, versiffter Herd. Die Dunstabzugshaube sowie die Küchenlampen kleben vor Dreck Die Küchenfronten blättern überall ab. Das Bad alt, ungepflegt und muffig. Die Bettdecken, Kissen und Topper waren mit Blutflecken, Pippi und Schweißringen mehr als ekelig und nicht gereinigt. Im gesamten Haus fanden sich alte, ekelige Überreste vorheriger Mieter. Unschön auch das Sammelsurium in der Küche und im Hauswirtschaft sraum. Dann kam auch noch die Sturmflut und wir mussten nach der Hälfte des Urlaubs abreisen.
