Ski Trip

Overall a good experience. I can’t get used to the double beds that aren’t really joined together. Pool and sauna areas were excellent. Food was expensive. Lots of families enjoying the school holiday.

Hotel is extremely dirty. It starts from the hallways all the way to the room. Bathroom was filty. There was no warm water after 10p.m.

Positives: fast checkin and checkout, nice bar. Negatives: building site for spa is a mess, parking lot without lighting behind this, veeeery dated furniture and finishes and technology in rooms, modest breakfast.

Though you pay €168 a night, you are not granted access to the swimming pool unless you buy the spa-package which then gives you access. This is somehow silly as one should be able to swim without entering the spa but the hotel does not care. No tea or coffee available in the room, no room service. In short it is more like a hostel than a hotel.

The hotel operates like a factory: way too little personnel to address the needs of customers. The dining options are not really options: over-priced buffer or an a la carte restaurant which does not take any table reservations. We got tired of waiting and simply drove to another place to have dinner. The rooms are not cleaned every day (not even towels replaced which is strange as the hotel focuses on sporting).

Erittäin tyytyväinen asiakas

En ole koskaan yöpynyt missään missä huoneet ovat olleet niin siistejä. Vaikka miten katsoin joka soppeen ja nurkkaan niin ei pölynhiukkasta. Samoin oli allasosastolla. Suihkut, wc, siis aivan kaikki tilat todella puhtaat jopa kaakelin välit. Suurena miinuksena pidän ravintolan pöytiä joiden lakkapinta on mennyt tahmeaksi ja antaa likaisen olon, on kuin pöytiä ei olisi pyyhitty kunnolla. Ruoka oli hyvää. 15.6 ollut kokki oli selkeästi pizza kokki ei perehtynyt miten lihaa käsitellään. 13 ja 14 iltana oli kokki joka hallitsi kaiken ja hänen käsissä hiiligrilli pihvi oli suussa sulava. Vaihdoin aikanaan pois Holiday clubilta koska Suomessa sekoiltiin varauksissa ja henkilökuntan epäystävällisiä, olin silloin kantaasiakas ja matkustin ympäri maailmaa. Vaihdoin Cumulukseen missä kaikki sujui hyvin, mutta tämän käynnin perusteella olen valmis tulemaan kokeilemaan muitakin Holidayn hotelleita. Jos ovat yhtä tasokkaita kuin Vierumäki niin näette minut ja muun kokousväen hotelleissanne. Meitä oli Lahdessa vaatimattomat 1400 henkeä + media.

Yöpyminen sujui mukavasti ja palvelu oli ystävällistä. Iso plussa jääkaapista. Huone oli mukavan viileä ja sänky yllättävän mukava. Aamupalalla ei palvelu ollut niin ystävällistä erikoisruokavalioista kysyttäessä ja sen tarjonta oli ihan ok.

Pariskunnan pääsiäisvierailu

Majoituimme pääsiäisennaikaan. Uusi kylpylä, saunat kivoja,eritysmaininta savusaunalle, huone oli myös siisti. Henkilökunta palvelualtis ja ystävällinen,hyvä monipuolinen aamiainen. Sapiskaa ravintolalle kuitenkin sikäli, ainoa iso miinus oli todella ala arvoinen buffet . Sekä liha että kala oli aivan liian kuivaksi paistettua. Hinta ja laatu eivät todellakaan kohdanneet buffetin osalta. Seuraavana iltana Pine Pubin ruoka oli verrokkina huomattava parempi.
