"Nous sommes restés seulement 1 nuit et nous avons bien aimé. Chambre spacieuse et lit confortable et propre. Salle de bain moins bien rénovée que la chambre mais somme toute très bien. Café disponible le matin ce qui est plaisant. Nous avons joué au discgolf ce qui était drôle mais un peu stressant car on jouait à travers le terrain de golf. Terrain de tennis bien entretenu mais les articles de location laissait à désirer. Vieilles raquettes et de très, très vieilles balles ( ça ne devrait pas se produire pour un resort comme ça !) Déjeuner excellent et service impeccable."

"The property was beautiful, the house was clean and perfect for our three-generation family. The host was very responsive. We visited Harmony beach (as recommended by the host) and it was WONDERFUL for our young kids - like a giant wading pool with so many creatures to discover. The evening sunsets were spectacular and overall had a wonderful time at Northern Desire. Would definitely recommend!!"

"Had a great time , it was more of a place to stay as we travelled around . Could have used bathroom supplies and clothes soap . It was actually very nice and we would stay again . Very clean and enjoyed the sunsets ."

"This home on the bay was perfect for our big family trip to PEI. The house was immaculate. The hosts really thought of every little detail to be sure our needs were met. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen well stocked. The outdoor space was quite accommodating for a variety of ages from our young grandchildren, parents to grandparents. Loved the hot tub after a busy day. Hosts communicated well but still gave us a relaxed enjoy your vacation feel. Highly recommend and will do so for anyone looking for a vacation home in PEI."

"We absolutely loved the rental! While not a central location ,it was exactly what we were looking for to just relax and enjoy the view after two weeks of driving around Cape Breton and Nova Scotia. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and deck. Beds were super comfy! The hosts were quick to answer all our queries. We really appreciated the basket of goodies too!"

"This house truly has it all, and in some cases- in triplicate. There is so much provided you really would never need to leave the house. The original photo of the deck threw us off as it was before the grass filled in, but it’s a golf game and the water is so low you don’t HAVE to wait until low tide to fetch the balls, though you can. They have a plethora of kayaks, the bathrooms and bedrooms are gorgeous, three living spaces…. The neighbors (well, Daniel travels by ATV to pick up fish somewhere along the coast) and what a sweet man! True island fashion everyone on the island is wonderful. James and Lucy were truly hospitable and honestly, you would forget they were the hosts and think they were friends visiting. Such great personalities. There is lots to do nearby, we missed out on Tyne Valley’s Friday Night open air market- but next time! The house is worth every penny. If I could make any improvement, it would be my employer’s vacation policy 1w/yr I’d love to be able to take at least two on the island and this house would be my choice EVERY time! Also- the sky at night! We could see the Milky Way! Thank you so much for letting our family stay, 86yo nana, my 66yo parents, my husband and I, and our 5kids and four of their friends. They all had space and there wasn’t a single disagreement between them- except on the murder mystery games (and that’s only because of the strange and funny character relationships we had to navigate given our real life ones haha)"

The “Small” Cottage

"The property is great- close to lots of Island sites, restaurants very close by 10-20 minutes drive… right outside the cottage was a beautiful beach to walk on and to view nice sunsets.. There are lots of birds great blue heron pair, eagles and kingfishers.. we collected shells and sea glass on daily walks..The cottage is cozy and lovely to spend the evening in.. Donna, and her husband were great very helpful and the property is well taken care of … We had a great stay …The Spud gang.."
