The Taiga House - inspiring mountain views at the edge of Denali National Park

Back on the market after taking 2 years off to rent out yearly.

The Taiga House is located in the forest just north of Denali National Park. Once a spacious B&B known as "The Grand View" it has been remade into a family home with two vacation rentals. Our three bedroom, second floor residence is attached, yet private, with an entrance and yard of it's own, amazing views of the local mountains scenery and abundant charm. It sleeps six, with 2 queen beds and a daybed with trundle bed under, full bath, spacious living room/dining and fully equipped kitchen plus a washer/dryer.
There is a bar-b-que grill, picnic table, fire pit and amazing wilderness just outside the door.
There are restaurants, a brew pub, and a full grocery stores just a ten minute walk down the trail, or a two minute drive away, and many more restaurants, bars and shops twelve miles south in the bustling tourist zone known as Glitter Gulch outside the entrance to Denali Park.

Very convenient for a visit to DNP. There was a grocery store nearby, and 49th state brewery was an excellent restaurant nearby. House had everything we needed!

What an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Great quiet location convenient to Denali Park. House was very nice and comfortable for our group of 5. Clean with all amenities needed. And what a stunning view out the windows! Would absolutely stay there again.

Wonderful Place

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Accommodations were great and the hosts excellent. One morning we saw a moose out the back window. The location is excellent. Very close to Denali Park.

Wonderful stay! Owners are so nice and friendly. View and setting are wonderful! Cabin is well stocked. Nice peaceful trail behind the place too! We also loved the friendly dogs.

Great place to stay for a visit to Denali

My husband and I and my brother in law and sister in law spent 3 nights at the Taiga House while we visited Denali. The house was clean and comfortable, well appointed, with a great view. The hosts were responsive. We were very happy with our stay.

Wonderful stay near Denali!

The Taiga house was perfect for our family’s visit to Alaska. Lovely view, comfortable stay, they had everything we needed. We were so happy to have this be our home base for adventures in Denali. Relaxing in Healy

We needed a break from our 2 months long road trip accross Canada and Alaska and Julie and Todd's place was perfect! We enjoyed the Taiga house and going out for dinner at the 49th state!

Everything about our stay was excellent - beautiful views, lovely apartment, well appointed kitchen, convenient washer/dryer. Friendly & knowledgeable owners. Nice country atmosphere with a neighborly moose who visits occasionally. Large market & great brewery are close by.

Great place to stay while visiting Denali

After mounting the stairs and opening the door, you are greeted by a most glorious view. This apartment is beautifully furnished with high quality items. If you are exploring this part of Alaska, I highly recommend staying at Taiga house.

The place was clean, modern, well equipped and best of all, the view from the great room was beautiful! It is about 15 minutes from Denali National Park. The host was friendly and knows a lot about the area. It can be a little challenging to find the first time, but it’s only a couple minutes from the main road in Healy which has a couple restaurants,

Perfect Stay

We loved the proximity of the house to the park! We really enjoyed our stay. The house was super clean and comfy. We loved the views out of the window and loved playing with the dogs. We grilled out one night. The kitchen was to stocked with everything we needed. We had a nice hot shower too which was nice.

From the moment we arrived, we felt immediately welcome and were greeted by our host and their adorable dogs! Our first morning did not disappoint as we spotted a moose moving through the back woods. The next day we saw a mama moose and her twins! We enjoyed visiting Denali park and had perfect weather. Finally, we did the hike out the back of the house and saw yet another moose and baby. The house was very comfortable for the six of us and one bathroom did not pose any problems. We would highly recommend Taiga House to anyone staying in Healy or nearby!

Perfect Healy/Denali vacation spot!

We had an amazing time in our Healy vacation spot. The location is amazing and so convenient. The home is perfect. There wasn’t anything that we needed once we arrived. Kitchen set up is amazing the view can’t be beat. We enjoyed the trail and friendly dogs are always a plus. The proximity to the park, rafting, and good food is perfect for a long or short stay. Highly recommend these hosts and this location!

Amazing stay totally loved it

The house was clean it was huge we were a party of 6 and were very comfortable. It has amazing views, its better than the pictures uploaded. Well equipped and great location just minutes away from Denali NP, groceries are just 1 mile away. We had an amazing time. Todd and Julie are super friendly and available on the app quick turnaround. Overall amazing place.
