We needed a place to call home base while exploring Jim Thorpe and the Lehigh River Gorge. We also needed someplace quiet to work, just in case. This was a great choice for both. Walkable into town, or just a super short ride. Comfortable and all the needs for two people. Close to the rail trail, could walk the short-ish walk into Jim Thorpe town, either via the street or the rail trail. Close to hiking (we did bald mountain) and biking paths. We explored wineries and breweries and the many delish recommendation from our host. Dee and Mark were wonderful hosts. Can’t wait to return and explore more.

This place was an absolute gem! It was very clean and so homey inside. Had all your essentials and more! To get to the historic side of Jim Thorpe, we parked close to the bridge (for free) and walked over. It was a nice walk. This was a fabulous find. I definitely recommend Dee’s place!

We decided last minute to visit Jim Thorpe for a quick getaway. I contacted the host the day before and Dee's responses were quick and I was able to book seamlessly. Great location. I mile into town which would have been a pretty easy walk, but it rained and we opted to use an Uber. Vintage Revival Retreat was absolutely stunning, clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay there again when visiting Jim Thorpe.

Comfortable and clean unit. The location is not within walking distance of downtown area or grocery store. However nice neighborhood bar within walking distance with good food and friendly people. Hosts were very accommodating.

We had made reservations to take the shuttle from town and bike on two days. Turns out we were an easy ride to town and back. On the ride home, we picked up a steak and fresh asparagus, a bottle of wine and enjoyed a lovely outdoor patio dinner, made on the nice new grill. All the details in this property are beyond all the VRBOs we’ve visited, down to the nightlight and the comfy bed. Dee even left out snacks for us to nibble. Thanks Dee. You’re a wonderful host!

The place was quaint and cozy. It had just about everything you would need. It was convenient to everything without being directly in the town. We only had a few small suggestions....there was no hot water in the bathroom sinks, no tv channels only netflix. We had to put the toaster on the floor to plug in to an outlet. But these were not major things and did not spoil our trip. We had a great time.

Dee thought of everything! The location was a short walk from Jim Thorpe, get those calves burning! Not too much to do in the immediate area of interest for us, but the accommodations were top-notch. Gorgeous inside with anything you may need at your fingertips. The host really thought of everything for you to enjoy your stay and went above and beyond when small inconveniences came our way. Communication was stellar when responding with questions or concerns. Excellent instructions and signage from beginning to end before, during, and after our stay. I love clear instructions! No guess work, just enjoy yourselves. We plan to go back in the fall!
