The owner Kelly was very friendly and helpful to give us advice about local activities. The room is clean and spacious, and offers free good coffee and tea. We had a very good time here!

The property host, Kelly, was wonderful and informative. The owners dogs were friendly and my kids loved them. The pool was awesome and had an old-school-style slide! The property was beautiful.

Great get-a-way from crowded locations around Kona. It was a little hard to find, best to use street address: 94- 6263 Kamaoa Rd for directions. We found several dining options after 4pm, but be warned, restaurants may close early if not busy.

My husband and I loved the privacy of the resort’s location - quiet and peaceful property surrounded by macadamia nut trees! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful when it came to suggestions for places to check out on the island during our stay. We wish there had been laundry facilities for use on the resort but it sounds like that is in the works. We also enjoyed the pool, the pool table, and the ping pong table. Overall a very nice place to stay and in a great location (halfway between both major cities with plenty to do in between).

Kelly, the owner, really goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. The place is amazing too with plenty of stuff to do, like a saltwater pool, pool table, ping pong, a place to watch movies, gym, etc. You can eat from the many fruit trees and the macadamia nuts. Definitely the best place we have stayed so far! No breakfast though. And no nearby cafe or anywhere to get it. Just mentioning that because it is still categorised as a b&b on some sites

Home away from home. The facility offered the use of a full kitchen, game room, as well as picking fruits and nuts that were ripe. The only cause for concern (for some) would be the two tile steps that lead up to the shower. Otherwise, great property and amenities.

Don’t fall for this scam, this is a trashy property, not a resort, the owners live onsite with a big obnoxious dog that barks all night and scratches at your door. There is no food(or even potable water) available, or anything else that someone would expect a self proclaimed resort to have, and there is nothing around for miles either, so it is basically a crash pad with old crappy, uneven beds, in a funky remolded basement. Even worse was the way the owner treated me when I expressed my dissatisfaction in our stay. The dog knocked our 3 year old son over several times while we were trying to get to our room, and apparently she thought this was perfectly acceptable, no apology for anything, just blamed us for not complaining directly to her in person, even though we had no clue she was the actual owner. Overall it was the worst night we had in Hawaii and probably one of the worst stays we have ever had anywhere, and this is coming from a seasoned world traveler.

There are lots of fruit trees here, papaya, mango, orange, mac nuts, etc. I got/ate first time papaya from the papaya tree. I went out my room 4 am and see amazing stargazing right on the sky.

This was a wonderful place to stay! Kelly was so wonderful, full of recommendations and very friendly! The property is gorgeous and we felt like it was home away from home. I highly recommend staying here, and if we get a chnace to come back, this is for sure where we will be staying!!!

We loved that this was a privately owned property; it was a pleasant change from the corporate feel of chain hotels. The proprietors were great and helped us with every need. Loved, loved, loved it!

This place was wonderful I would have liked to have spent more time there it's a great place to go to a lot of other places in the area it's a beautiful piece of property with lots of of fruit trees nut trees . The people there who run it are just wonderful however however I would not go there if you have any type of handicap conditions you may have some difficulty maneuvering around the property other than that it was such a pleasant stay next time planned to stay longer

The resort is the midpoint to Kona and volcano park. Host is very friendly. Nice kitchen is available for use to make any food. 5 minutes away from a great bakery and within 14 minutes you can find some restaurants.

Clean nice place. Near Volcanoes and Southern beaches. Really cool, informative owner. If you're a dog person, 3 amazing, giant dogs that are great but do make noise throughout the night if you're a light sleeper

Thanks Adam! Just to clarify, we do have large, ok, giant dogs. They patrol the 8+ acres at night to keep the wild Hawaiian boars off the property. Pigs can be dangerous so its important with our remote rural location to have the 'night shift'. Pigs are smart and because our dogs protect our boundaries every night they are learning to avoid our place. Soon they will no longer test them. I apologize if you were here on a night with pig activity, it happens. I just want to be clear that it isn't an every night or all night situation ever. Mahalos for the compliments and we appreciate your candor!

Kelly is an incredible host and it felt like coming home. The fruit orchard was a unique surprise to our stay. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get a flavor of the island.
