Fully Equipped Docked Houseboat at Log Pond Marina in Havre de Grace, MD.

Delightful fully equipped house boat docked at Log Pond Marina in the quaint bay town of Havre de Grace Maryland.. The marins is located at the end of Girard Street. You will find many shops and restaurants and are not far from Annapolis, Baltimore, Washington DC and Philadelphia. (commuter train runs through town). Boat is fully equipped with HVAC, dishwasher, microwave, big screen TV and compact washer/dryer combination. The master bedroom has a private bath with shower and a second bath to be shared.. The upper deck is a party deck with patio furniture and bar. Linens and towels are provided but guest MUST wash and dry prior to departure. Or bring your own. (1-queen, & 3 full size and a pull out sofa bed) The houseboat laundry equipment is small and requires 3 hours to complete but the dock washroom has regular coin operated machines. Additional fees apply if laundry is left incomplete. The houseboat may not leave the dock. You are able to arrange boat tours and rent boats by contacting the marina. You may moor your boat next to houseboat for $2.50 per foot size of boat
additional per night paid to the marina. Trailers can be parked in parking lot of the marina but must be move every 48 hours to a new parking space in same lot to avoid ticketing. The sofa is also a pull out bed. This is a marina community and I expect vacationers to be respectful of the community with music and parties after 10 pm. PETS ARE WELCOME BUT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DROPPINGS AND MUST BE WELL GROOMED TO AVOID MAJOR SHEDDING! Extra charges will apply if excess cleaning required.

Fun on the water location. Nice view, steady breeze, various passing boats and wildlife to watch. Nice central living room/kitchen ....larger than most boats. Plus plenty of deck space for lounging. Conveniently located near the marina restrooms/showers, which were clean and well kept and provide a nice option for someone my size (6'5").Located just a couple short blocks from the Susquehanna Seafood and Wine Festival at Concord Point Park.We would stay here again.

We were a group of all ages and everyone had a good time. It was quiet, peaceful and very relaxing. We were there for a baseball tournament and would definitely stay again.

Amazing houseboat experience

Great place to stay, the views out large houseboat windows were incredible and felt very connected to water/nature.. Catfishing at night was hopping. You won't want to leave this place.

I wish I could have stayed longer

This was my second time to the houseboat and it was wonderful! It is conveniently located and many small shops, restaurants, brewery/bars are walking distance, and a short drive to wineries. Also a park right across from the marina.

Wonderful time on the Doc Side Dog House

Myself and 3 other ladies had an amazing time on the boat. The bedrooms, barhrooms, and kitchen areas were clean. The location of the boat at the Marina was perfect.

Surprise Party

I rented this houseboat for a surprise 70th Birthday Party. It was perfect! I highly recommend for a party or just a quiet getaway. The view is beautiful, every amenity you need. I would definitely rent again.

Loved it!

The houseboat was just as advertised and the marina was quiet. There were five in our party and there was plenty of space! My favorite time was going to the top deck early in the morning as the sun’s glow hit the water and other surroundings. Truly peaceful. The town of Havre de Grace has lots of shops and restaurants to enjoy. I would love to return.

Baseball Weekend

Calvin’s boat in the quaint town of Havre de Grace was perfect for my family visiting the area for a baseball tournament. Boat had a perfect layout to accommodate us (2 adults, 3 kids). And Calvin was great, easy to deal with and always responsive. Thanks Calvin.

Perfect location and FUN!

I've never spent the night on a boat, but my brother said we may run out of hot water for our showers (it was my brother & his girlfriend, me, and my cousin). We never had that problem! Yes, it was dock spider season, which meant that if we wiped the webs off the outdoor seating, the webs were back the next day; however, I NEVER saw a spider inside. The location was PERFECT and it really was neat to be on a boat and feel it move with the waves. I slept like a log. The only hiccup we found was having to launder all of the linens before check-out at 10am. Probably easier for folks who are driving, but we were all visiting from far away. Next time I'll try to find a linen rental service (I've used those when renting in Maine).

Enjoyable

The weather was cooperative and the surroundings were very nice. The local people were very kind and helpful. Lovely town and easy to navigate. Was a bit disapointed that the slide was not accessable as it seemed to be a focal point of the VRBO pictures. It was a bit of a disapointment that there was a HUGE yacht totally blocking the sight line of the beautiful river. The accomodations were very comfortable with the exception of the "master" bed mattress. It was a bit old. Loved being on the water and if any one would complain about the spiders and webs, shame on them. Being in this kind of relaxed nature is why you stay on the water by choice. The owner/manager was very quick on getting back via e-mail and was helpful and kind in their communication.

The boat was very spacious and well maintained. Although the weather was cloudy and rainy, our stay was warm and comfortable. The beds were a bit hard to make but that's a boat. Thank you for a lovely location and well equipped boat.

The property manager was great if I had any questions. My only real complaint is that you are expected to bring your own sheets and blankets or wash the sheets, blankets, and towels that you use. I don’t mind starting laundry or even taking out trash. It just seemed like the cleanup was a lot more than a typical Venice.
