Set down an unmade lane it nestles in rolling countryside, giving a real, rural retreat; one forgets how close you are to the coast with Newgale and Solva just a few miles away. Surrounded by an acre of grounds with uninterrupted views over the fields, it is bordered by a stream, the river Solva which meanders on its way down through Middle Mill to Solva and out to sea. The south-west facing conservatory is an ideal place to relax, while the newly fitted, cottage style kitchen/diner is perfect for enjoying long, leisurely family meals, or alternatively dine alfresco on the paved terrace on balmy summer evenings, as the sun slowly sets. The cosy sitting room has a wood burning stove to keep any chills away. 3 steps lead to the bedrooms. The area abounds in footpaths with a number of circular walks, the bird and wildlife will delight. Just 4 miles away from the tiny fishing village of Porthgain with its thriving galleries and popular pub, 'the Sloop', it is equidistant from the delightful harbour village of Solva, enjoy exploring its shops, galleries and pubs all nestling round the picturesque inlet; join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to really explore this rugged coastline. The woollen mill at Middle Mill is worth a visit, set in the green valley on the banks of the stream. The long beautiful, sandy beach at Newgale is only 3 miles away, popular with families and water sports enthusiasts, there is a hire centre and beach side pub and cafe to refresh.
