This was our second stay at Simon's Place, we like the relaxed, genuine Tongan atmosphere. The owners and staff go out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Lovely help yourself breakfast and the cafe meals are delicious too. It's a convenient location, just a short 10 minute stroll to town past the market or to the waterfront and it can be interesting with the wandering dogs (we never had any trouble), cockerels and chickens - even an occasional pig and piglets!! The room was basic. Clean enough. The staff were friendly and helpful. Fast internet. Bed comfortable. Well lit. There was no view, TV or fridge. The shower was very good. Price was ok. We encountered issues here and there, like toilet clogged, leakage, falling rails, but the staff and owner helped us readily. There is parking space. They won't reply to messages much. They are magnificent people who are willing to help though. Please say hello to the resident puppies as well when you get there.
