"We arrived at breakfast at 9.30 - after recommending from the receptionist (earlier would be a hassle due to many people). But all basic food were missing (bread, eggs, cheese, croissants, fruit, etc) it was very difficult to get anything and the waiters were busy cleaning up. "

"Overnight stay with family and dog. The communication was quick, easy and efficient. Our cabin was 4 bunks. Was very warm and massive rain overnight, we had the windows and door (part) open and all slept really well. Felt safe. Great activity room in the guesthouse. Nice walk and food at the Yppal restaurant (book in advance for great view of fjørd). "

"Read me read me if....... If you LOVE the outdoors and are here in Norway to be part of it then don’t hesitate to book BASECAMP! "I came to Ulvik/Villavik to see where my ancestors once lived and to walk where they once walked. The Handanger Fjord and all areas surrounding are amazing! Vallevik Fjordhytter, our cabin on the mountain was charming and peaceful and everything one could want! Paul was there for us if we ever needed anything or had any questions, very kind! I would love to return some day and if I do I hope to stay here again."

"Beautiful remote location about 20 minutes from Voss. There are two bedrooms down stairs, and two up. The main living space is open plan and very well stocked. We were coming from the states and could not bring our own linens so we bought linens and towels at Jysk in town for about $35 per person. The communication with the host, novasol(?) was not great and they need you to use their website to get all the details about getting into the house, but once we had that it was easy."
