Unfriendly owner lashing out at guests.

While the overall quality and cleanliness was as okay-ish expected, we had quite the unpleasant run-in with this hotels owner. When we checked in, we were pleasantly surprised when the employee told us that there will be a breakfast buffet included in the price. We made sure to ask the employee again, who did tell us that the buffet will be included, which we thought may be a change in terms we were very happy about. This happiness lasted until we checked out with the owner the next morning. She let us know that breakfast will be charged extra, which we did not expect. When we told her that we were promised differently the precious night, she told us that "it is not her fault her employees are incompetent" (it is...) and literally screamed at us that we should've known this. We ended up paying as she made quite the scene in front of numerous people and left our party quite upset. Other relevant things to know are that the mattresses are pretty narrow and soft, there is no A/C (only a radiator that is deactivated in the summer, even though it was only 14C/58F that day), and poor Wi-fi (we had to use our mobile data to get a proper signal). Overall, I would not recommend this accomodation. While the room quality was only slightly below average, the catastrophic interaction with the owner left our family quite distressed.

På måfå-tur

Hotellet lå svært praktisk til for oss som kom i bil . Det var lett å finne og hadde veldig god parkeringsplass. Meget bra frokost med hjelpsom betjening. Hotellet var smakfullt innredet og med tiltalende rom . God valuta for pengene . Bjørgulv

Ferie 2019

Gefallen hat uns die ruhige Lage gleich hinter dem Deich. Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Radausflüge in der Umgebung. Das nette Ambiente und das freundliche und hilfreiche Personal ist besonders zu erwähnen. Ein großes Lob auch für die Küche ! Die Fischgerichte sind sehr gut und von überraschender Schmackhaftigkeit ! Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben uns in der viel zu kurzen Zeit sehr wohl gefühlt und uns gut erholt.

Skønt hotel - dårlig vedligeholdt udendørs område

Hotellet lå helt perfekt i smukke grønne omgivelser, der var meget rent og restauranten serverede super lækker mad i et meget rimeligt prisniveau. Fællesarealerne uden for hotellet mindede mest af alt om et ret dårligt vedligeholdt sted. Deres lille "sandstrand" var delvis overgroet af ukrudt og græs og var meget rodet med et par af store karakteristiske strandstole der var væltet og alt så ud som om det bare var forladt. "Strandbaren" var lukket og henstod mere som et opmagasineringssted.

Sort sol med gæs, ænder og/eller stære

Hotellet ligger lige nedenfor dæmningen ud til marskområdet nord for Husum. Alt er pænt og rent, maden fortræffelig og rigelig og betjeningen perfekt. Det bedste tidspunkt for ophold er nok forår og eftersommer/efterår, hvor fugletrækkene er imponerende. Her kommer man tæt på fuglene, men tag endelig teleskop, håndkikkert og kamera med. - Søger man ro og er sig selv nok, er stedet perfekt. - Udpræget sted for naturfolk.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, genau zwischen Deich und Arlau. Das Bad schien modernisiert und war ansprechend. Leider stimmte aber die Abbildung des Zimmers nicht mit der Wirklichkeit überein: Das Zimmer wirkte sehr dunkel, Nachttischlampen gaben nicht genug Licht, lesen im Bett war daher nicht möglich, es roch muffig, Möbel im Stil der 80er, Tisch vermutlich noch älter, Teppichboden in braun, den Inhalt des Schrankes konnte man nur mit Hilfe einer Taschenlampe erkennen, weil es an Licht in diesem Bereich fehlte (umstellen würde schon helfen!), Wlan war so langsam oder fiel aus, so dass die Seite häufig nicht aufgebaut werden konnte. Das Frühstück war zwar ausreichend, einen Morgen gingen jedoch die Brötchen aus. Ferner wurde der Belag nach Sorten getrennt nur aufeinander gestapelt bzw. der Käse nebeneinander gelegt, ohne ansprechende Deko wie Petersilie oder Salatblatt. Tomaten und Gurken wurden in zwei Schüsseln daneben gestellt. Das habe ich in Jugendherbergen schon besser erlebt! Wenn morgens die Zimmer gereinigt wurden, blieb oft der Putzmittelschrank offen. Insgesamt wirkte alles lieblos, auch wenn das Personal sehr freundlich war. Wir können das Hotel nicht empfehlen.
