Not as expected, still waiting on promised refund

The home we arrived at was NOT the same home as advertised - and it was filthy: bugs, dirty sheets, pimple pus on bathroom mirror, etc. The host would not respond to our phone calls, texts or messages sent via VRBO messenger so we reached out to VRBO. VRBO immediately issued their portion of the refund. The owner then agreed to issue a refund & said it would take up to 15 days. That was over a month ago. I still have not received the refund (nearly 900).

Everything was good but communication for entry of home and for internet information. This information should have been sent to me after I book and paid for my stay. I had to waited about 30 to 40 mins or so for someone to finally respond to my call or text. And about 4 to 5 hours later for Wi-Fi info if we can get these issues corrected, this will be the ideal place to revisit. Anyways, I just would like a better experience. That’s why I went in details so please don’t be hard on the host they might have had a lot going on that day. The place was super clean spacious and very nice 👍
