"This campsite has clearly been neglected for some time and is in need of major renovations. The fixtures and decor was clean but dated and tired. The camp has no wifi which is unheard of in 2026. The camp ground was very empty compared to others in Albany and the region that we saw. There is a message in this."

"Everything was seamless right from the time of making the initial booking through to checking out and everything in between. The cabin was very clean and well appointed. There was a nice doggy package waiting for our dog Molly, a bed, blankets, towel and bowl. The location was excellent with its close proximity to the beach.Can recommend staying here."

"Lovely couple of nights there, didn’t hear or see much of the owners. The guest rooms are directly attached to their home so definitely intended for a quiet stay as to not disturb! Beautiful room, clean modern styling lovely, no sink in kitchenette but stocked with milk, yoghurts, grazing platter and coffee!"

"We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay at Jilba Cottage over the long weekend. The cottage was comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed. The checkin process was smooth and hosts were available to answer questions before and during the stay. The continental breakfast and eggs on the first morning was yum! Jilba cottage is a great base to explore the Porongarups and Stirling Ranges, and only 30 minutes from Mount Barker and Albany allowing lots of opportunities for hikes and exploring."
