The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. The Dining room lacked atmosphere, had a limited menu choice, though evening meal was well presented and tasty, but was rather expensive. ‘Petunia’ Bedroom was of a good size, had excellent views of the extensive gardens and was very clean - it would not be ideal for disabled due to a small staircase leading to the room and another just inside the room. Documentation provided clearly indicates the potential charges associated with a lost Room Key or Toiletries taken from the room and a discretionary 10% Service Charge added to all Restaurant and Bar bills."
