Well-marked hiking and biking trails invite tours through the varied Harz landscape. Popular day trips include the historic old town of Quedlinburg, the impressive Rosstrappe near Thale, and the famous Harz narrow-gauge railways that provide rides through the national park to the Brocken. The Selketalbahn even travels directly through the village.
