"My wife and I loved our stay at the La Dona Luz Inn. Paco, the owner, was a treat to meet and to talk to and learn about the history of the Inn and the exquisite craftsmanship and beautiful decorations throughout the Inn. Our room fantastic with a very comfortable bed, large bathroom and spacious room. The Inn is an ideal location for walking around the historic Taos center. Can’t wait to come back and stay here again."

"This was a comfortable, relaxed, quiet atmosphere with beautiful well kept grounds. Of course, everything in the central part of Taos portrayed the "southwest" style including this property. Location is excellent by being in walking distance of the Plaza, shopping and restaurants. We will definitely keep El Pueblo on our "stay at" list on our next trip to Taos."

"1. No staff was on site for late check-in. 2. Front door did not close all the way. 3. Canopy bed had uncovered steel bars and blocked TV. 4. Window next to bed had plywood and duct tape cover. 5. Fireplace did not work. 6. Very noisy refrigerator. 7. Only one mirror in room. 8. No phone in room. 9. No microwave in room. 10. Out-dated TV with no movie channels. 11. No hair dryer in room. 12. Not adequate counter space in Bath. 13. Not enough towels or towel racks in Bath. 14. Required full payment up front. 15. Unreasonable cancellation policy. "

"Great location and serene property. Finishing touches are lacking - some broken items in our room neglected or hastily fixed. Pool and hot tub was closed due to a problem our entire stay. "

"This casita was PERFECT! Exactly as pictured and in a great location in Taos. We walked to the Plaza, to dinner and probably could have walk to the grocery store if need be, although we had a car. Kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy breakfast before we got in with our day. Although we didn’t use it, there is a washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Taos again. "
