Relaxing Long Pond Home

Wonderful location on Long Pond and just yards away from the bike trail. Perfect location for an active family. Plenty of gathering spaces and good sized rooms. The yard is well taken care of, with lots of beautiful flowers. Easy drive to Skaket and Nauset. Private beach was used every day! Almost no car traffic at all and very quiet.

Property was perfectly situated on a beautiful lake with easy access to bike trail and short drive to bay and ocean side beaches. The house was very homey and well kept with enough space for a group full of adults to find some privacy from others. House was well stocked and the owners were just wonderful to deal with, answering questions quickly . Would definitely stay here again

Lovely Lake House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house across from Long Pond. We loved the pond-access, kayaking and swimming. The house was spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was great for families like us who enjoy cooking. The property owner responded in a timely fashion when any issues arose. We hope to return next summer.

Great Location

We really enjoyed the location of the home. The private access/beach was just what we were looking for. We left walking on the trail. We loved the general store that is less than half mile away and right off the trail. Great to grab a quick one for dinner for ice cream. The beds were comfortable. Very clean. We wish the style/decor of the home were updated/simplified. That is obviously personal preference so sharing for others have a personal preference for a simpler or lake/beach decor.

A perfect location for family or friends to enjoy Long Pond. The home was larger than I anticipated from the online description and the layout gave everyone in our family their privacy. The deck and the beach had plenty of seating and eating space for all. The kitchen could have been better organized but we had just about everything we needed, and then some. All in all, we had a wonderful time in Harwich at Raj and Cindy's and I would definitely come back the next time our family vacations in CC.

This property made it to our top 3 best vacation rentals. The neighborhood is great, the neighbors and everyone we encountered were so polite. The house was impecable and very clean. Private beach? Couldn't have asked for anything better. The home is very spacious with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space, and no need to fight over who's taking a shower first either -- plenty of bathrooms for everyone, too! A wonderful bike path is located within walking distance. We had great fun riding rental bikes (delivered right to the home!). Raj and Cindy are very nice and easy to communicate with and welcomed us with a wonderful note and informational sheet on everything we could wonder about. Very happy with our stay here. Highly recommend!

I was hesitant to rent because there were no reviews, not sure why that is because this house is great! Very nice inside, well equipped, even nicer than the pictures. And the outside is awesome - beautiful decks, yard, and beach area. My family of six loved the beach area - cute little beach on a very nice, large pond. Owner supplied a hammock, beach furniture, and 2 kayaks (which were really fun), plus there is a dock to jump and swim off of. Owner was very easy to work with, no problems and when I emailed after we arrived with a question he answered immediately. Would definitely recommend this rental!

Spectacular location!

I have to give this place a 5 star rating for the location and proximity to the rail trail for biking. It’s literally a second from the rail trail. If you are looking for rail trail access and a beautiful outdoor area and spectacular private beach in Long Pond, this home is perfect! The home is old and has a lot of original charm. The rating is five stars due to location and outdoor amenities and rail trail but we were a little disappointed with the comfort of the dining room chairs (very worn) and the beds in the downstairs bedrooms also seemed worn. Anyone who went barefoot in the home, their feet were quite black which makes me think the floors could have been cleaned a bit better. The kitchen is tight for a family who loves to cook and have a lot of cooks in the kitchen but the appliances are all updated and function properly. Raj was great in helping us when we had a question or concern. Overall the stay was fantastic. You really cannot get a better location!!!!!

Beautiful, relaxing vacation

We've been renting homes on the cape for several years and this is our favorite one yet. The house is very nice. Nicely equipped and spacious. We had 7-9 people and plenty of room for all. The pictures do not do this home justice. The lake is fabulous. Walk out the front door and down a flight of steps to a Private sandy beach area, with a sturdy dock and clear and clean water. We kayaked, swam, fished, and had fires at night for smores at the water. The owner, Raj, was very responsive and had a minor issue repaired immediately. The house is just off the bike bath, close to route 6, and very easy to get to.

Relaxation!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The house is spacious, plenty of room for adults and kids to spread out and have their own space. House has all the amenities. Master bedroom with the views is amazing. And the bed in master suite was supremely comfortable! In addition to the quiet and peaceful home, you have amazing lake access. A small private beach area with a hammock by the water yo simply take it all in. Wonderful stay with incredibly responsive owners!
