This property, is one of the most beautiful places on Cape Cod. And if you decide to stay here you can be certain of the best possible environment for a perfect vacation. .. we adore pets and you are welcome to bring your WELL BEHAVED pup with you. The property is on a private beach steps from your door. We try to provide an accommodation that we would hope for ourselves, and provide everything we can to make your stay with us an exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable experience. We clean and sanitize to The latest protocols, and the dehumidified air system circulates through hospital quality HEPA filters to provide fresh clean air. Both bedrooms have an entry to a large and beautiful bath room. The master bedroom has a large sliding door looking out over the the pond just steps away. The new beds are extremely comfortable and you will get a good night's sleep on them The garden club award nominated landscaping adds to the views of abundant wildlife and magnificent sunsets from your bedroom,, as well as the large picture window in the living room that gives you a wonderful view. The small but well equipped gally kitchen is both beautiful and efficient for vacation meals. The living room with tasteful Cape Cod nautical decor is comfortable And inviting. A 75inch home theatre with premium programming and theatre quality sound system, makes this a place you won't want to leave. For cool nights you have a gas burning fire place to keep you cozy. We provide luxury sheets towels in an immaculately clean environment. The flagstone patio has a gas grill for outdoor cooking. We provide board games for rany days, beach toys for kids or grandkids. We offer fishing rods. Cast to nto the pond a few feet away for a near trophy sized largemouth bass. We provide 4 kayaks, a canoe, and all the water toys for playing in the safe warm clear clean waters of Bucks and John Joseph's ponds . We have a level 2 J1772 power supply if you need to charge your electric vehicle for your convenience as wellThe apartment is the lower level of our home with private entrance and a private yard and patio. We are on a quiet street with parking. We have 2 Trek hybrid bikes to ride the spectacular Cape Cod rail trail nearby. Beaches, golf courses, and stop and shop groceries are all less than 5minutes from your door as are Harwichport and Chatham down town shopping areas. you will find everything in excellent condition,and ask that you leave it as you found it (within reason)

Hosts over delivered with the amazing location, views, great accommodations, bathroom, towels, soaps, lighting, easy check in and out, willingness to let us in early and stay late, super comfortable, supportive mattresses, & all. Second visit to this special place

This property is centrally located on a pretty pond (unfortunately, no swimming there during our stay this year or last). Spacious, clean, lovely accommodation. Mike and Joe are most hospitable and immediately responsive to any and all requests. Next year, I hope to return with my daughter, her husband, my grand-puppies, and maybe a grandchild as well!

We enjoyed our time staying in this quiet location The apartment was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed The beach at the pond was an added bonus Mike and Jo were so kind and such a fun couple It’s a great location on the cape and has lots of areas close by for the dogs to enjoy We already booked for next year!

Great Weekend Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The accommodations were so cozy and very well equipped. We enjoyed kayaking and the owner provided us with one of their bikes. They couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you!

The property was nice, private beach on freshwater pond, dog friendly. Kayaking and swimming was great. It felt like staying with relatives. We had a nice time. One thing to note, it’s very close quarters with the owners that live upstairs. Maybe bring a sound machine.

Lovely location but terrible weather!

Perfect and wish I /we could have stayed longer to catch some warm, sunny weather. Too damp and cool to participate in pond activities...very unusual for Cape Cod Indian summer!! We will be back! PS: The hosts were very nice and we had sailing in common!

Picture Perfect

This is an ideal vacation home: ideal location in Cape Cod, ideal neighborhood; ideal views from every window. The owners are gracious and welcoming though never intrusive. The decor is charming and well placed. The place is spacious and very comfortable. The views of the ponds is calming and beautifully changeable with the sun and cloud patterns. This is a spot to return to often!

THE PERFECT PLACE TO UNWIND

Our stay was wonderful, the place is charming with every possible water toy available for use., bikes included.... The view from the bedroom and living room was amazing, couldn't get enough. Our hosts, Mike, Jo and of course, Daisy, were wonderful. Available at anytime and so much fun to talk with. Loved staying there and without a doubt, will be going back!!

Excellent stay!

We had a lovely stay here. We would definitely come back. Even though we had a little undesirable weather and our whale watch tour was cancelled, Mike and Jo helped us out so we could make it possible another day during our stay. Much appreciated! Winter Stay

My husband is working in Harwich this winter and needed a temporary place to call home. I researched the area and I am so glad I found this perfect place. It looked so nice I decided to take our dog and join him. I am so happy I did, Mike and Jo were loverly hosts along with their dog Daisy. The area is great for walking and the space is private and cozy with everything you need for a wonderful stay. We would definitely return!

Unbelievably fabulous stay!

In addition to warm, welcoming, helpful hosts, the house and space itself is ideal: cozy, convenient and with a gorgeous view and easy access to the adjacent pond. The bed and couch/seating was comfortable enough that we barely remembered we were traveling. The bathroom is spacious and well-lit. The kitchen is small -- perfect for a visit for a few days or weeks, especially paired with the grill and picnic table outside. We were walking distance from our morning kayak or idyllic walk with our dog, and an easy drive to nearby shopping, restaurants and the beach. Will definitely return in future and could not recommend highly enough.

What a wonderful home away from home....

We had a beautiful week staying in the lovely apartment of Jo and Michael. The vacation was everything we could have asked for. The space was beautifully decorated, comfortable, well-appointed and clean. My daughters loved rolling out of bed, grabbing oars and hopping into the pond for kayaking before breakfast. The beds were so comfortable- the most like home that I've ever encountered away from home. And of course, Daisy was a delight. My daughter was thrilled to get to spend quality time with her each morning. We will definitely stay there again, next chance we get. Thank you so much for the best Cape vacation yet.

hidden haven in harwich

if you're a couple or family with 1-2 kids, this little gem is the perfect getaway spot. less than 50 yards from a freshwater pond, there is no need to pack up the car to go to the beach. we were in the water everyday on the quiet private beach, some days swimming and others kayaking (kayaks provided by the host) in the warm water. the two bedrooms are comfortable, the full bath clean and well stocked with towels, and the little kitchenette well equipped for simple meals on the outdoor patio overlooking the pond. the hosts are kind, welcoming and very responsive. we spent a great week with them and highly recommend this listing.

Lovely vacation spot on the cape.

The mid cape location of this cute rental, in a charming friendly neighborhood, is super to access all the cape has to offer. You are minutes from fabulous beaches, restaurants and walking trails. You are also on a beautiful fresh water pond. The owners are extremely accommodating and give you access to all their recreational gear including kayaks, canoe, floats, sunfish and bikes. The owners have also taken great care to provide hepa filtered air throughout their downstairs apartment. You can also be entertained by a huge TV and an amazing collection of books. We were also very pleased to have an extremely comfortable king size bed. If you have never been to Cape Cod, go now!

Relaxing and Beautiful Spot

We were so lucky to stay here for a week in August. The location can't be beat and was just what we needed to unwind and rejuvenate. We woke up to the peaceful view of the ponds and spent many hours swimming in the warm water, sunning on the small beach, and kayaking with our two small children. Because the water was so calm, our young son was able to kayak on his own for the first time. The apt is comfortable and well set up for both warm weather and cooler weather days. The owners are a lovely couple who made us feel at home and were very responsive. The kitchenette is very clean but is a little small if you are looking to do much cooking. We made use of the grill instead and ate outside, enjoying sunsets and sipping wine.
