Facility is dated at a wire sticking out of my side of the mattress. Had to telephone the front desk several times for an answer to a question housekeeping staff does not replenish the coffee even though they’re not cleaning the room. Vacuuming rooms above us early on a Sunday morning.

My daughter and I spent a night at the Inn. Rebecca warmly greeted us and was super helpful. The Inn was very comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast was one of the better ones I've had included with stays at various hotels/inns. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

The inn was nicely decorated and a wonderful departure from the somewhat generic chain facilities. The room was beautiful and very clean. While there were signs of age here and there, they were noticeable only if you really looked. The staff at check-in were friendly and helpful, making us feel quite welcome. If the need arises to stay in the area again, we will definitely stay at the Farmington Inn!

We stay here every time we come to Connecticut to visit friends and family and have not ever been disappointed in the rooms, location and the staff is the most friendly and attentive. There are terrific restaurant nearby and a short drive to shopping.

Overall, a very good value especially for a pet-friendly hotel that accepts medium size dogs. The cleaning staff is using way too much air freshener in the hallways - it can almost gag you! Also, there is much lawn to walk your pet. But otherwise, this is a decent place to sleep in a beautiful area of CT.

Very quaint kinda like a bed and breakfast. Breakfast choices very good. Bed was too soft. Heat vs Cool controls hard to manage for comfort. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

The Inn is starting to show its age. Hallway carpets are showing wear. Very uncomfortable mattress.

The property overall was very nice, and the area was excellent, convenient to many local sites and food. The size of the king suite was awesome, but location on the main road was a bit loud. The carpet was a bit frayed on the stairs and there was a crack in the wall of our suite. That being said, would stay here again with pleasure.

Do wish that they had an elevator so that people could take their luggage up to their room without carrying it up a flight of stairs. I am somewhat handicapped and the kind of room that I reserved was not available on the first floor. They could at least have bellman to help!

They are still following strict COVID protocols. But couldn't they at least clean the rooms without asking? I noticed a few areas of needed maintenance, like wallpaper curling at the bottom and plastic corner guards held with only one nail/screw. It moved every time I put my hand there.

Very nice property. Well appointed and quiet. Only negative was a poor breakfast bar. Very limited choices. Instant oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, packaged fruit cocktail and yogurt, with a few other things. And no restaurant on site or nearby.
