Everything was good with this property. The only complaint is the beds aren’t comfortable. We were looking forward to a good nights sleep after having driven a few hours and walking around the college.

Upon arrival, the room key didn't work so I had to go to the front desk several times to get the room key re-programmed. The front desk person was pleasant, but not apologetic. Another staff person told me that the room keys are frequently a problem, so it was not unique to me. It turns out it was not the key programming, but the door lock system. The entire room door access system needs to be repaired or replaced hotel-wide. I stayed for three nights and was never confident that I'd be able to get into my room because the key never worked on the first try. The bedroom was dated and in need of renovation. The wooden furniture is gouged, chipped, and scratched. There was a hole in a lampshade. There was a hole in the wall where a hook may have once been. The hot water was lukewarm, not hot. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were sufficient, so I was able to sleep fine. The tv is a Roku system, which took some getting used to. Free wi-fi, but with no password needed, so I question the security of the wi-fi. No breakfast, just coffee. I will not be staying at this hotel again. My mistake for choosing to stay at "Red Roof Inn", which I confused with "Residence Inn".

I came from out of state to seemy family. This was my first and last time staying at this hotel. First of all, the check in process was tedious. There was nobody at the front desk when i walked in, so i waited and waited. Then the phone rang and I thought surely someone would come, but nope. Then i finally yelled and someone came to check me in. I had reserved this room online, but still had an application to fill out. Now mind you, I'm tired from traveling and dragging my luggage and packages. Then another page and they wanted info on my rental car. It's a rental and i did not know all this info. Got my keys and dragged everything up to my room. Neither of the keys worked which added to my annoyance, and i had to drag everything back down to get new keys as there was nobody on the floor and no hall phone. Finally got into my room and there was no refrigerator. So i took a trash bag and went to the ice maker so i can keep my beverages cold. The sign on the ice maker stated that the only working ice maker was in the lobby. Great! Now i have to get dressed and go back down. I asked the front desk where the ice maker was and told him that my room didn't have a refrigerator, he replied that it's because i reserved the "standard" room. Smh. So i went to the ice maker and it basically fell apart on me. And it was dirty! The shower in my room had mold on the ceiling, the fixtures, the wall. And there was no cable, only a roku that i had to sign into my own accounts. Unacceptable

Nice fall weekend stay...!!!
Former Hampton Inn revamped into a Red Roof Inn (RRI). Having stayed at RRI before I like this set up as it does not have a motel feel with cars parked outside each door. The staff was courteous and the room was clean. For those wanting to watch local network TV be prepared, not to watch local network TV. The TV appeared to be app based so for those without Netflix, Hulu, Prime or other accounts you will be out of luck. There are free TV options if you are interested in watching programs from the 1970's through the present or pre-recorded live TV on Pluto, Freevee etc. I would stay here again.

This was a 2 star rated hotel, so as expected, it was a little dated and needing some TLC but, it was clean and the bed was comfortable for a night’s sleep while travelling south.

Property was clean enough. Staff was fine. Hotel is noisy, especially late into night. Pillows were old and flat. TVs were grainy. Stayed at other Red Roofs with no issues, however would not stay here again.

This is my second time staying here. Hotel is clean & quiet at night and perfect for what I needed. Only suggestion I would make is the pillows on the bed can use some upgrading. They’re more on the flatter side.
