They just need to recheck the prices for the alcohol in the property, it’s very expensive. Ohh need to keep an eye on the monkeys "

"What a lovely guesthouse. Our host and team were brilliant. The room and views from the premises the beautiful. We had the all the amenities we could have needed. Our room and the premises were both very clean. Breakfast was delicious, and the bar well stocked with lots of options. The pool is also a great size with lovely views and kept well maintained. The team also decorated it prettily for Valentines, with lots of lovely touches like balloons, chocolates and roses - what a lovely treat!...

"We had a lovely view of the dam day and night, night view was a personal favourite. The staff were super helpful, friendly and accommodating. We were unfortunate to have had same booking as a wedding for that weekend, so there was a fair bit of noise and activity so we didn't get to enjoy tranquility of the place until our last full day there. I could definitely see myself going back to La Montagne for a quiet getaway"

"Detail: I don't normally leave reviews but if I can help someone out, I hope this is it. Make sure to CALL BEFORE you book online and confirm if there is water. It is a basic human need but yeah, no water in the area during our 3 days there. It ruined the weekend but the staff could not do much. Fault should be placed on the owners to make sufficient back up plans for their Paying staff. "We had a comfortable stay. The breakfast at Khayamanzi was by far it's best attribute. The Dstv signal was very poor... considering that we don't get to watch movies and we just wanted to relax and watch a good movie but couldn't. If you have kids under 4 years old, make bedding arrangements because although the website may not charge you for kids, it doesn't give you options for their stay... Which means you would have to then pay for their stay as an older child."
